My man Absheik was lovely, accomodating and very helpful for anything I needed. The room was lovely, well located, had a fabulous view and private balcony. It's well tucked away yet spacious and light. I love steps, but if you're not enthused by them or inclines then you'd have a very short tuktuk ride. Breakfast huge and freshly prepared. The bed super comfy, there were a selection pillows, lovely cotton not poly bedding, mozzie net that I didn't use, shower and great towels. It's only a 2 room stay so super private and no passing traffic. It is a stones throw from Matey Hut, an absolute MUST eat at. Very close to the train station and main hub.

The ONLY 2 things I would say as a bit of a neg is that in my instance I had to ask for a bedding re-do. A smell of use and a hair, yet crisply folded so maybe just a washing oversight. I'm sure it's not the "norm". To be fair I am a bed snob. My request was immediately dealt with but as a traveller this must be mentioned. the other is that there was no brewed Sri Lankan coffee, my only stay in 2 weeks without. Cash only!!

Super nice place with lovely view. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was great!

The room is very spacious and clean. Large balcony with a great view. Also you can see the train from here. Warm shower. Staff is very friendly and breakfast is wonderfull. Easy to walk into town.

Great location, small boutique B&B, with the fantastic Abishek on hand for anything you might want. Fabulous breakfast, you must try the chilli/vegetable omelette ! Quiet location yet only 5 minutes down into town. Balcony views & very personalised experience with only 2 rooms. Excellent stay for 2 nights.
