With all the negative points, its acceptable for the price, but dont expect a nice stay

The location of the hotel, its in the middle between notre dame du mont, the beach and vieux ports. Price is acceptable for what it is. Hosts were nice enough to allow us to keep the luggages at the hotel

Apartment too suffocating, especially the one on the ground floor. Barely any amenities, maybe if we asked we would've gotten extra stuff. Its like a worse airbnb with much more restrictions and more blurred lines. For example, we were surprised with a 300 euros per apartment as a warranty that was liberated when we left. They made sure to say if you leave a plate (even if washed) not packed properly then they will take from the warranty. The check-in is at 5 pm while the check-out is at 10-10:30 which is crazy... Most places accept 2-4 checkins and 10-12 checkouts. The floor of the apartment is tilted and very uneven. You can hear whenever someone moves above you 24/7. Apartment could've been cleaner. You need to retrieve and then drop back the keys in the actual hotel rather than the apartments which is 10 min away by foot. Booking longer is not rewarded, we are staying for a week, left us 2 coffee pods?!

My family had an excellent experience.

The location is fantastic. This was my fourth time in Marseille, but the best in terms of the location and convenience. It is a 10-minute walk to the Veux port and close to a metro 1 estragin station and several major bus stations, making it easy and cheaper to connect every part of Marseille. My spouse and children love the apartment and the quietness of the neighbourhood. Hopefully, we will book the same place on our next visit to Marseille.

Location was very good ! Apart from that I felt the property was a bit costly as compared to the facilities offered

The apartment was old and really shaking if there was someone even walking above or under you. The flat was clean but not super new equipped but just temporary fixtures at too many places

Location was good. Walking distance from port and opera, walking streets, safe

If I would have known before reserving the room that we had to go to another location 4 blocks away to pick up keys, I would not have selected this place. With suitcases and late at night it was very inconvenient. The expectation is that the guest also brings the keys back, after cleaning the room! Or you will get charged extra 20 euros. Even the garbage has to be taken out to a container on the street! The window of the room was on the street level without a curtain, so the dark wooden shutter had to be left closed and be in the dark. We received 16 emails for our 2 nights stay, with expectations: don't break anything, don't make noises after 10pm, clean up, etc etc. On top of that, to get the keys they charged me 300euros extra, in case we break something, and will receive it back only in one week after checkout! I've never had such a guest unfriendly experience in my life . The building is totally run down, embarrassed to tell our friends where we were staying!

Very disappointed at communication. Parents wanted to checkout 2 days before because it did not suit them. Was told checkout is not possible. Pick up keys one place and appartement other place. No one at reception at the time they wanted to deliver keys. Will never book this place ever again.

Convenient location very close to the old harbor and to the center of Marseille.

This apartment is comfortable and located next to a metro station and very centrally located in Marseille. The hosts at hotel Edmond Rostand were very kind and supportive.

The building itself is a bit old and would deserve a renovation, particularly the staircase, though this does not affect comfort inside the apartment itself.

Ok location, unwelcoming service

Free storage of luggage on day of checkout.

We were asked to do a lot of cleaning ourselves and repeatedly told that if not we’d be charged. However, a cleaning sponge was not provided. The room smelt strongly of cigarette. We told the hotel about it on the first day and nothing was done about it, not even a message of acknowledgment. The floor of the property was sticky. Please be aware that if you’re visiting on a summer month air conditioning is not provided.

J’ai séjourné à l’appartement Edmond Sylvador et malheureusement, la chambre était infestée de punaises de lit. Au bout de quelques jours, j’ai eu plus de 90 piqûres, avec une réaction allergique importante nécessitant une consultation médicale. L’établissement m’a remboursé la nuit concernée, ce que j’apprécie, mais vu le nombre de punaises présentes, il est clair que le ménage et le contrôle sanitaire n’ont pas été faits correctement. Très mauvaise expérience, je ne recommande pas cet endroit

Tres bien situé pour tout visiter à pied et en transport. Appartement correspond aux photos.

Appartement très bien situé Literie confortable 2 chambres Cuisine bien équipée meme si le frigo fuit un peu et abîmé le sol et la plinthe . Accueil pour recuperer les clés tres agréable et réactif vs les petits soucis rencontrés. Proximité parking.

Periode de canicule, ventilateur pas suffisants. Immeuble mal entretenu ( cage escalier abîmée, volets très détériorés) 2eme canapé inutile , prend de la place et très inconfortable. salle de bain sans fenêtre, joints noirs dans la cabine de douche Fenetre donne sur la rue au dessus des poubelles, odeurs remontent car personne ne ferme le local à poubelle.
