A price performance - perfectly located apartment

The accomodation has a great view on Eiger from the balcony. The apartment is spacious. It is located above the local store, so you can go shopping in your slippers. If you go there for skiing, the bus stop is directly in front of the house. They also have a lot of animals in and around the house (dog, cat and chickens) which felt nice.

The timing of the bus is up to 6:30pm only so if you’re late coming back you need to take taxi which is CHF25

We had an absolutely unforgettable time during our stay at your hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed. The flat was spotlessly clean and incredibly well-equipped; it truly had everything we needed to feel right at home. A huge bonus was the bus stop conveniently located right near the house, making it super easy to explore the area. What really made our experience exceptional, though, was our hostess. She was incredibly friendly and always went above and beyond to help us whenever we had a question or needed assistance. We're already looking forward to our next visit and will definitely be back! Thank you for a truly wonderful experience.

5 night stay

The stay was brilliant, location and the view was beautiful. Daniella was very accommodating and friendly. Was also a lovely treat to meet their dog Lexi each morning. Being able to get the bus from right outside your door made our commutes very easy.

Amazing views, pace and nature

The terrace it is amazing, the views and just having breakfast there feels like holidays. The host is very nice as well as her dog and cats. We felt like home.

If you do not have car, be aware of the bus time schedule. They finish early and if you want to do something after 18:30 you will need to walk back home (is over hill and a 30’ walk). If you have car, you will enjoy the pace of been outside town.

Nice quiet apartment

Very spacious well equipped apartment. Very quiet.. Comfy bed. Large balcony which had the afternoon and evening sun. Nice ladies who run it (live next door and run the shop). Much nicer location than the very busy centre. Get the free bus (hourly) into town. Nice local walks from the chalet.

Above and beyond our expectations.

Everything!! The location was idyllic. Daniela& Corrine were kind, hospitable, and helpful. The little store attached was convenient. We especially loved Lexi and the cats. The beds were comfortable and the views from the balcony are breathtaking. The bus stops right out front. So easy!

There wasn't anything we didn't love! Make sure to learn the bus schedule or else the walk up the hill takes effort but is beautifully refreshing.

Much needed quiet getaway, in a beautiful village. The host is really friendly and warm!

Breakfast was not included. The location is perfect for anyone looking for a quiet getaway. The balcony opens to view of the mountains and sound of the stream.

The proximity from public transport. There is 1 bus that arrives every 30mins and the last bus is approx at 18:30. If you miss this bus, the only option is to walk for 25mins to Grindelwald station or wait for 30mins for the next bus.

It’s in a more quiet and peaceful area. The host is lovely and helpful. The rooms are spacious and homely and the balcony is very nice.

There is a bus that goes there but the hours are limited. I really didn’t mind walking to and from the property outside of the bus hours but if you aren’t fit it might be a bit of a struggle.

Great views and good value for the money

The front door and our apartment was open for us as promised the hostess agreed to meet us around 7:30 but was unable to do so. She met us in the morning and answered our questions then. We forgot our electric convertors and she happily had some for us to use. Also she recommended good local restaurants and informed us of the bus schedule. The apartment was very spacious and had all the amenities for cooking. Great shower.

Location is a bit further from town and bus runs once per hour or you need to walk up to the apartment from a bus stop. It was a bit noisy with delivery trucks and busses pulling up outside in the parking lot.

Wunderbare Herbstwoche

Es war eine wunderbare Zeit in der Ferienwohnung. Die Vermieterin ist unglaublich freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Als wir verspätet mit dem Zug ankamen, hat sie uns vom Bahnhof geholtund in der Wohnung stand ein großer Einkaufskorb mit den vorbestellten Lebensmittelnaus ihrem Lädeli. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es fehlte an nichts.

Wohlfühloase

Die Vermieterin ist sehr herzlich. Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb des Trubels von Grindelwald, was für mich perfekt war. Die Aussicht vom Balkon gibt einem sofort Ruhe und Zufriedenheit. Der kleine Laden im Haus ist ganz hervorragend sortiert und hat alles, was man braucht, sogar Ladekabel und Netzteile fürs Hand, regionale Lebensmittel, Eier von eigenen Hühnern, und und und. Ein echter Tante Emma Laden wie früher. Habe mich wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt.

Auch wenn das Wetter ziemlich schlecht war, so hatten wir dennoch eine erlebnisreiche, tolle Woche.

Das Haus liegt etwas außerhalb vom Ortskern in ruhiger und landschaftliche toller Lage mit Blick auf den Eige; zu unserer Wohnung gehörte ein großer Balkon. Eine Bushaltestelle befindet sich direkt vor dem Haus, so dass man schnell im Zentrum ist.
