It was good value for money. The location was handy. It was clean. Breakfast was amazing.
It was quite noisy. Sound travelled through the building. The fridge was really noisy next to the bed.

Very charming, outside of town, great for adventurous and cultured travelers looking for authenticity. Simple, but nice breakfast, coffee, small “minibar” offerings, beer, soda, etc… Friendly house dog and lazy cat.

We appreciated the woman who checked us in-- very kind and sensitive-- even though we couldn't understand each other's language. We were glad to have free parking right here, though I will say if you have a large van like us, it takes some maneuvering to get it into the parking. And we liked the breakfast.
We got off to a rough start with the owner when we arrived due to miscommunication, mostly because in the US when you say first floor you mean the lowest floor but there first floor means the second floor up. We asked for a first floor apartment because of a wheelchair but when we arrived we learned they had us up a flight of stairs, since they call first floor the ground floor. It got sorted out and we did end up with the "ground floor" room for the wheelchair complimentary with the rest of our family in the scum floor rooms.
