Cost efficient place close to the station. Here, you get what you pay for.

The hotel is at a good location, close to the Gare/Station. Check-in was smooth, also the invoice was sent on time of check-out. The hotel was quiet, the bed was alright. The place is cost efficient.

It was suprisingly cold on arrival, but the heating could be increased which eventually helped. The place looks cheap on the inside.

We enjoyed staying at the LUX as a base to explore Grenoble.

I need to follow a diet low in saturated fats, and crave fresh fruit, scrambled egs and gramola, but not much besides bread and jam and croisants was avaliable. However the manager for our vist was a guy who is so personable and eager to help us find our way around Grenoble, which made our visit very enjoyable. The LUX is an older building and the rooms are a little small, but for the money, it was a fair deal. It was quieter than a comparable we had a few days earlier the window and metal shutters can be adjusted to screen out most street sounds while allowing in cooler evening air, or shut completely if it gets chilly The lift for our overstuffed luggage was great! The location is quite good, only a 6 minute walk from the train and bus transport hub. We enjoyed great day trips to Moiron by train, and Chamrousse by bus!

Breakfast offerings were very limited for guests looking to minimize saturated fats.

It’s location was ideal - close to the railway station and bus station. We were especially grateful to be able to store a bag at the hotel while we went on a walking tour of the Ecrins.

Great location close to the city centre and main railway station, knowledgeable and helpful staff (Thank you Olivier!), good local restaurants nearby, comfortable bed, a superb view from the firth floor, a standard continental breakfast, so everything was fine :)

The room did no have an air-condition, which was not a problem for me but in the summer it might me missed by some guests ...

Good budget stay in Grenoble

Great location to walk to from train station but therfore further out from main areas. New floors and decoration and very clean throughout. Lovely hosts.

Very small shower room/toilet in twin room which meant unable to have privacy for changing if travelling in pairs with someone who values this. No air-conditioning so room very hot. Quite loud road noise with windows open.

It was direct at the train station and well connected. The rooms were clean and had everything.

Unfortunately the hotel did not have air conditioning and due to fact that it is close to the train station it was quite loud with open window. The breakfast could have been also a bit more.
