I loved the location of the Cassava Bungalows. Walking distance to good restaurants and cafes and our favourite beach. We had the place mostly to ourselves. The staff were lovely and very helpful, especially when the power went out and they had to move us to another location owned by the same owner, C-Man Guest house, which was absolutely lovely. I would stay at either of these properties again.
They only served breakfast, and while there is a great cafe next door, it would've been good to be able to just get some snacks or lunch for around the pool some days. The pillows were a little thin for our comfort but they were very accommodating in bringing us extras.

Good location. Friendly staff. Good A/C
The bungalow’s are getting long in the tooth. The doors do not close properly, letting mosquitoes in. Hot water is not consistent. Too many ants on the pool area. The river rocks in the bathroom seem to be a popular thing in Bali, but they are just a trap for dust and dirt and a trip hazard.
