Oasis in Mushroom Bay

The swimming pool and the location (near to the beach but away from all the traffic) were perfect. The bed mattress were super comfortable and the staff great. The propriety with garden with beautiful flowers and fruit trees were very well maintained.

The only recommendation: to have a table inside of the unit to sit down on the couch instead of being on the bed.

Amazing location, room was lovely very clean, good air conditioning and pool area was nice. You get exactly what you pay for, so not luxury accomodation but very comfortable. We organised a snorkelling tour through the hotel and got our taxis through the hotel too and that was really useful.

The staff at the hotel were lovely and the cleaners were nice. However unfortunately what let the hotel down, were the two staff members at the restaurant. At first we thought there may be a language barrier but throughout our hotel stay they were consistently rude to us. We saw the lady speaking English and smiling at another guest. We were told by the reception we could request an early breakfast before our snorkelling tour, that we organised through the hotel. Upon request to the restaurant this was a flat no. The lady kept speaking Indonesian towards us, at what we can only assume were offensive comments and her mannerisms towards us were quite uncomfortable. Every time we walked past the restaurant we would not even get a hello. On another note I wouldn’t let this put you off booking, but please be warned. They are not accommodating.

Highly recommend

Amazing place. The location was perfect, the room was huge, and breakfast was amazing. The choice of eggs or pancake or toast with juice and coffee or tea for breakfast. The pool was nice to refresh. The room and bed were huge, and the mosquito net was appreciated. The bathroom was also massive. Highly recommend this place, and renting a scooter from them.

The shower could have been better and appeared to output slightly salty water? The pool had some small debris in it. As with seemingly all accommodation in Bali, the bathroom door needed a bit of a trick to close. The positives massively outweigh the negatives though.

Nice stay close to mushroom beach - they need just to change the shower head

Nice rooms looking the pool, 7 minutes from the beach by food

I’ve never seen so much limescale on a shower head in my life – it was almost corroded. They just need to replace it and everything will be fine. Also, they should use proper cleaning products for the toilet bowl, as it was yellow.

A great, unexpected surprise of a hotel to stay, booked at short notice.

We enjoyed a pleasant stay at Naradas. The price we paid was extremely reasonable so we weren’t expecting a great deal. However we were very much surprised! Nice big room, ceiling fan as well as airconditioning. Lovely sized bathroom. Mozzie net over the bed. Short walk to the beach, but away from the sand which was nice.

Short & sweet

A small property with a great pool & nice staff. A basic breakfast was good enough for us for the 2 nights we were there. Close enough to walk to Mushroom Beach.

The roads are very poor & had a sore back from the jarring drive in & out. No bins in rooms. Very basic breakfast but ok for 2 days. Beds extremely firm.

Great location with easy access to the beach and restaurants

The location was great being close to the beach and walking distance to the restaurants.

It appeared I had double booked two rooms, whereas Booking.com only showed me one booking which was a cottage. I did not check my records on arrival, and was put into a standard room for the first night which was not great. So I asked to be moved to the cottage that was not occupied for the rest of the stay when I was told that I already had that room booked in my name. The booking showed Zeena Lobo for the standard room; and Lobo Zeena for the cottage. I was put in the standard room! At no time did Reception or the owners advise that they had two rooms in my name! This should have been done at the time of checking in. The staff were fine though one man who served us drinks and food appeared quite grumpy whereas the lady serving us on the first day was very friendly. Maybe it was just his personality but in the hospitality industry, a smile gets you further!

Would never return

The pool was good size for little kids although pool chairs are very dated.

The bathrooms were dirty, There was no hand soap or hand towels in them. Linen is stained yet clean. The staff were grumpy and everything felt like such an inconvenience. We were told we could book an early breakfast as it’s 8am-10am so on the morning we left with an early crossing we did this to get a 7am they didn’t walk in until 7.10am. I wish we walked out the day we arrived.

If you only need it for sleeping is great.

The location is 2 min walk from Mushroom bay. Next to small shop (bottled water or snack) and a local warung where you can order food until 9pm. It is very clean, they clean it daily. The breakfast option is enough- I recommend banana packaces with honey. The manager is nice and he helps you with everything.

The only minus for me was old bathroom.

A clean, comfortable, and convenient stay just steps from Mushroom Beach

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The hotel is only 100 metres from Mushroom Beach. The room (cottage) was a good size, very clean, and well-maintained throughout my stay. The staff were friendly and always ready to help, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Wi-Fi was strong and reliable, making it easy to stay connected. Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay with great service. Would definitely return!

Really lovely place to relax

This is great homestay with outside bathroom. There are nets for the beds and are a few mosquitoes around. The pool is lovely and there are lots of sun loungers available. It is close to the beach, only a one minute walk to Mushroom Bay where there are great restaurants and there are mini marts there as well as in the lane down to the beach. It’s a quiet relaxing location. There is a laundry lady close by. Breakfast was included and did the job.

It is a bumpy ride to get to the main part of the island and a taxi is $15 one way.

The room was quite warm even though there was air conditioning on 24/7. It was also very dark inside and hard to see inside our bags. The was nowhere to sit as we put our bags on the bench provided, other than the bed. A couple of chairs inside would have been helpful.

Idyllic

Firstly this is excellent value for money. Close to mushroom bay. Excellent reasonably priced restaurant on site. Comfy beds, nice pool with shaded seating to relax by and a great massage place a couple of doors down. Laundry can be sorted by walking 5 minutes down the road. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday. This is our second time here and wouldn't hesitate to come again. Out of all the places we stayed in Bali this is one of our favourites. It may not be a 5 star hotel but the people who own it and work there are and you feel so welcomed by them. If you are looking for reasonably priced accommodation in a good location with authentic Balinese meals on site please consider this homestay.

Enjoyed my brief stay

Great location, decent breakfast. Big clean rooms. Younger staff very nice, friendly and helpful. . Lovely pool. Beds comfy to sleep in.

Needs somewhere to put luggage, like those collapsible bench things. It was too hard to use bags on the floor, so we had to use the bench seat for luggage, which meant there was nowhere to sit inside. A kettle and a jug of water would have been great. There was a whole wall which could be made use of - for example, a shelf or something to store luggage. Hand towels and soap would be good. Obvious work needs to be done around the complex. There were broken tiles by the room and in the pool. Some of the older staff were very unfriendly.

Very relaxing - such an easy place to stay. Would definitely stay again.

The pool is beautiful and so relaxing to hang out at as there are different levels to sit in. All the rooms are around the pool. The street that it is on gives a bad impression as is not as nice to the paralell street which has more restaurants and cafes. But it's a 2 min walk to the beach so you can't complain and there are several cut throughs.

The bathroom could have been a little cleaner, but that could have just been the staining on the sink that made it look bad. Also the transport was expensive (150k to the yellow bridge) so I booked with Arjuns for 100k - this seemed to cause some problems. The breakfast was only average - the first day the pancak was bad where as the following days it was OK to good.

Lovely and simple property, well maintained. Surroundings a bit disappointing

Lovely pool and garden, rooms were very clean and cleaned daily by Made and his wife while we were having breakfast, pool towels provided, good Wi-Fi and quiet environment. Breakfast was good and cooked on demand, served at the attached restaurant. Very close to the beach, about 5 mins walk.

A lot of rubbish in the street (plastic bottles, rubble, old machines etc) which looks a bit run down. Most cafes and warungs are in the next street (only a few minutes walk) more vibrant and clean.

A very peaceful stay

The pool is really nice and chilled, the space is very very peaceful which is appreciated. The bed was amazing I remember sleeping like the sleeping beauty haha.

Superb

Naradas mushroom is an amazing place! The staff is very friendly, so they let me check in earlier. Cottage is spacious, very comfy beds, pool is super cool and it's very quiet during the day. The food from the restaurant and breakfast were delicious too.

Maybe just an observation more: hot/cold handles in the shower were a bit outdated. Also, if you're staying very close to the reception (my cottage was first), you can hear noisy travelers from early morning.

Lovely quiet and beautiful stay

Really lovely place that's even nicer than the photos! Is just a couple mins walk to mushroom beach and a quick 10min scooter to most other parts of Lembongan. The room was very spacious and clean and it was great to have a desk. It was also very quiet at night so we got a good sleep which is very important for us. The pool area is lovely for lounging and the attached restaurant serves great food! Overall very good value for money.

Wifi could be a little slow at times. Generally it was OK and stable but a bit slow. If you don't have a scooter you will be quite out of the way from the main area with the bars and restaurants. But you get the quiet instead!
