best to understand all the details before booking.

The area was amazing, nature just shines there.

We had the Mountain View where quality vs price weren’t aligned, including a variety of add ons which were not mentioned in the text on booking. Maybe good for a group outing but as a couple I could not recommend this as you hear everything from the room next door and have little privacy.

Beautiful location but check the weather if you want to ski!

Really stunning location. The room was clean, warm and fit six people comfortably. It would have been absolutely perfect if the weather hadn't been so bad! The host was super kind and flexible with us, which we appreciated a lot. We would really like to go back for a longer stay to have the full experience - it really was so peaceful on the mountain!

Unfortunately, all the things that made this accommodation special turned into massive inconveniences because of the weather. There was no snow, so at the end of each day we had to find a place to leave our ski equipment in town (difficult), catch a bus and then hike for an hour to the chalet. Of course, that's not the host's fault but it ended up being the opposite of the easy ski-in-ski-out experience we were looking for. Also, breakfast was too late (9am) considering the time it takes to walk down. We skipped it otherwise we wouldn't have made it onto the slopes before midday.

Bathroom and toilet are separtated from main room in 2 level, when the wealther is cold, it's a little bit inconvenient especially in the midnight.

Peaceful hide-away in the mountains

Very cozy room (we booked the double room) with a beautiful mountain view. The owners were very friendly and responsive to all our needs and questions. The bathroom is in the neighbouring hut, but very clean and you have your own little bathroom "cell".

The remote location of this accommodation is great but has its pitfalls. We arrived by ski and were lucky that we made it - snow conditions weren't ideal and the slope that you need to take to get there (23/27) was officially closed.

The view was incredible. Parking is close by so it is an option for everyone. The mayen itself was modern with an old look to it, great!

Either there are bed sheets and then they should be washed or you bring your sleeping bag. We had unwashed sheets which were a bit in the way.

A fantastic and unique experience, an absolutely perfect adventure at a time when such things are hard to come by!

Super clean and comfortable, away from it all with amazing views. Great dinner and breakfast with very friendly hosts.

Nothing we didn’t like, would have a slight preference for breakfast a bit earlier especially if we return (as we hope to) in the summer.

Parenthèse silencieuse au calme à la montagne

Le cadre magnifique, aucun bruit. Une parenthèse dans la montagne. Séjours reposant et ressourçant.

Petit bémol pour les toilettes qui se situe à un étage inférieur et donc il faut sortir dans le froid.

Superbe !

Le lieu est superbe, tant l'environnement alentours que la qualité de la rénovation des Mayens. Le dortoir de 14 places est un peu exiguë mais fait le job. Le restaurant est bon avec des prix corrects ; le personnel très sympathique en plus d'être professionnel. Il y a du choix pour le petit déjeuner. Il y a pleins de ballades autour, plus ou moins difficiles. J'ai adoré passé du temps là-haut! Merci!

La vue incroyable, le concept, la facilité d accès pour toute condition physique et à la fois l emplacement à la croisée de nombreuses ballades. La gentillesse des hôtes et du personnel et leur disponibilité.

Toller Aufenthalt auf der Alp! Mit super Abendessen und Frühstück! Das Haus hat uns sehr gefallen und die Lage ist unschlagbar. Wer einmal Alpenluft schnuppern will und eine Verschnaufpause braucht: Unbedingt hin. Nicht geeignet für Personen die Angst vor der Natur haben;)

Petite pause devant un paysage de montagne grandiose et avec des hôtes très accueillants

J’ai beaucoup apprécié l’accueil chaleureux réservé par les nouveaux hôtes Ambre et Cyril. Arrivés tardivement d’une randonnée, ils nous ont gentiment gardé le dîner à réchauffer ! Ils ont été disponibles pour répondre à nos demandes et le petit déjeuner avec la vue sur les 4’000 Valais et le Mont Rose est exceptionnel! C’est un vrai petit havre de paix que je recommande fortement à tous les amoureux de la Nature !
