Kevin was brilliant. Very polite, attentive and knowledgeable. We upgraded our room and he couldn’t be more helpful. Showed us the best hiking trails and gondola to use and even worked as the bar man. It’s a cosy hotel with classic chalet vibes and a lovely breakfast. We loved our stay here!
The bedroom was a bit dated and could do with an update

Parking was convenient and I always managed to get a spot, walkable to center (15 min), peaceful when not overrun with tour groups, gym was small and didn’t have weights as advertised (bench press was out of order) but fine for bodyweight/core exercises
The view was of the residential building across the street, the first night was noisy with a big American h.s. band that played music and chatted loudly also walked in front of our balcony but respected the quiet hours, at least

Staff was very friendly and helped us find a nice place to have dinner because the restaurant of the hotel was closed.
The hotel is more outdated than it looks in the pictures. Room was not very pretty, mattresses not very comfortable, toilet looked old. Breakfast was basic, only the bread was really good. View is good but even though we went off season and the hotel seemed deserted, we were given a room without view.
