Friendly, Italian inspired hotel with friendly staff, good breakfast and comfortable beds

Disappointing

This is a very special hotel with everything optimized to make you regret that you have selected this specific hotel. The only moment I liked is when I checked out and left the hotel.

The hotel building is very strange. My room was very, very small with a tiny bad and I was unable to sleep because it was very uncomfortable. The breakfast was very basic and limited. If I will need to visit the area again, I will definitely avoid staying in the hotel disregarding how much more I will need to pay to stay in a better hotel.

A lovely stay, friendly staff, unusually styled hotel.

The hotel was outside the main town of Sierre/Siders, in the suburb Chippis, just south of the Rhone. It occupies two older buildings, combined with a modern structure that joins them. It is completely renovated and features Art Nouveau decor and large mirrors on walls and ceilings, which make the interiors seem much bigger than they are. Our room was on the ground floor and was very quiet. It was comfortably large, with a modern bathroom. The staff were very friendly and took time to inform us. The breakfast buffet was good and was served in a large, pleasantly decorated dining room which is an Italian restaurant on most evenings.

We had no complaints in this hotel. It is within easy walking distance of the main town (but not with luggage), and close to several bus stops where the Post Buses to various places in the mountains above the Rhone valley can be boarded.

Comfortable and clean, reasonably priced (for Switzerland!) ideal hotel for a short stay.

Quiet, clean budget hotel. Friendly staff. Breakfast was one of the better continental type that I've had. In a valley surrounded by beautiful Swiss mountains.

Bar and restaurant were closed. A bit of a walk to the nearest alternatives.

Breakfast extremely basic. No air conditioning in the room. Room wasn't cleaned. Stuff doesn't speak English.

Friendly staff and practical free parking.

This hotel is located close to a bell-tower which is ringing every half hour ALL NIGHT!! Yes, it is very loud and actually makes it imposdible to sleep. Since there is no aircondition or ventilation system, you also have to sleep with window open - makes the problem even worse!

clean, quiet and friendly

did not take breakfast but was surprised to find restaurant open - it has apparently been closed for a long time? menu not available online. TV channels included BBC and ITV

we both suffer from sleep apnoea so use CPAP machines at night but the room had no power sockets beside the bed. Booking . com says rooms include a kettle (no), socket near the bed (no), entire unit on ground floor (no - but there is a lift), views (No - not from ground floor)

Convenient for a short stay

Very simple hotel, with a convenient location, free parking, and friendly staff. We stayed only one night and just slept in the room but it was comfortable enough and fair for the price.

It was half-empty, quiet, kind of dark, and had a slightly musky smell so not a very uplifting atmosphere. Felt like a hotel for retirees. Old decor in rooms.

Fine for one night

Staff was really helpful and nice. I needed to leave my bike in their storage a couple of hours longer after the checkout and there was no problem. The hotel is placed very close to the river, Sierre and public transport.

Breakfast did not have any hot food. Bed in my room was making noise every time I moved (it was placed too close to the wall and the wooden frame was touching it all the time). The room was getting too hot very fast (although outside was not hot - between 12 and 21 degrees during my stay). Due to that I had a window open overnight - there is a church right outside so I had a wake up every hour starting 6 am due to the bells going off. Contrary to the description, the rooms do not have hairdryers - reception has a couple of them and you need to request it. In my case receptionist had to go to one of the other occupied rooms and take it.

Superb

We came to the hotel by foot during a hiking trip. The room was huge and the area is really quiet. Not a sound came to our room. Breakfast was excellent. They also had a cute dog that couldn't be less bothered by people walking around. Awesome!

This is not really a fault of the hotel but on a random Tuesday, there was only one place to eat that was open for dinner on a walking distance.

Simple et efficace pour une nuit

Gentillesse du personnel, localisation proche du centre de Sierre (à pied/en bus), mais au calme. Propreté de la chambre et sa taille qui est tout à fait correcte pour une personne.

S'il faut noter quelque chose: l'hôtel se fait un peu vieillot. La ventilation est bruyante et le lit grince à chaque mouvement.

Un excellent souvenir!!

L'hôtel avait mis un panier gourmand à nos dispositions dans les chambres et cela a été très apprécié. L'accueil était très chaleureux. Le parking se trouvait juste à proximité avec un nombre suffisant de places.

Une ouverture de porte qui menait d'un vestibule aux chambres s'est avérée peu pratique.

Bene ma non benissimo

La struttura aveva il parcheggio privato gratuito. Il ragazzo molto gentile nel consigliare cosa poter vedere nei dintorni. La colazione non era abbondante ma tutto buono. La pagnotta fresca da affettare al momento era molto buona.

La camera era al piano terra e fuori dalle finestre non c’erano inferiate né tapparelle da poter chiudere per una maggior sicurezza. In camera abbiamo trovato avanzi di cibo in frigo di clienti che hanno soggiornato prima di noi. La tv non funzionava aveva tutti i cavi staccati. Magari suggerirei di fare un controllo più accurato della stanza tra un cliente e l’altro. Avrei gradito volentieri un bollitore all’interno della stanza per potersi fare qualcosa di caldo visto il clima freddo esterno.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt, auch wenn es zeitweise geregnet hat, aber trotzdem alles Bestens.

Sehr schönes Hotel, gute Lage in alle Richtungen, nettes Personal, auch deutsch sprechend. Die Zimmer freundlich und ausreichend. Parkplatz sehr gut. WLAN, kostenfrei, sehr gut.

Das Frühstücksbuffet zwar ausreichend, aber etwas lieblos, die Brötchen zu alt. Das Restaurant in der Woche leider geschlossen. Aber in unmittelbare Nähe, gute andere Restaurant.
