Loved the hotel, location, and staff - would stay there again!

We loved everything about this hotel. The location was excellent and the staff was super friendly. So many restaurants on site made it easy for us when we didn't want to leave the hotel and for grabbing breakfast before leaving for the day. We loved being able to walk around the Polanco neighborhood. We found the bar staff and the concierge to be particularly lovely and both really enhanced our stay.

We were disappointed that we weren't able to get connecting rooms, though they did find rooms close together. Also, the shower took FOREVER to warm up, which wasn't a big deal but surprising for a hotel of this caliber.

Good stay, could be better

Courteous, polite and very helpful, attentive staff. Accommodated late check-in. Quick room service. Very clean and secure place and neighborhood. Direct access to the park in the back. Multiple restaurants on site. Good buffet breakfast.

The AC controls were locked and Fan was on Auto. Fan would shut off often and room would get hot and as a result my sleep was disturbed multiple times at night. The sink water drainage was very slow. Buffet breakfast was good, but not 5 star in terms of spread and quality that I am used to.

Beautiful hotel, liked the location, the staff is very helpful, easy check in and checking out. Our room was on 23d floor with a beautiful city view. Loved the cosmetics in the room.

Chic with great location

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. It was my first time staying at the hotel. We had some hiccups with maintenance and a few things in the room including air conditioning. But one of the managers named Karin took a good care of us and she was kind and at then end everyone was happy . I also have to mention that the concierge is great. They take a good care of you guests. Alfredo and Andros were great at guest services counter.

I think when a room gets empty, the cleaning crew needs to make sure that everything is in good standing and if it’s not, they need to communicate with the maintenance team to do all the repairs before another check in .

We loved our experience and recommend staying.

The price did not match my expectation - because it was much better than I was expecting with an amazing view! :) We loved the room, the hotel had a great vibe, the location was central and safe, an easy walk to museums and parks. The staff and the concierge desk were fantastic and even helped us book a table at Ticuchi restaurant nearby which was not available online, such great food and an amazing experience.

We stayed for 3 nights in a room with a connecting door and on our 3rd night there was noisy people partying till about 2am in the morning. The way they were yelling and laughing made us feel uncomfortable, but we didn't let it spoil our experience.

The Queen Suite was nice and spacious. Club facility was good.

Concierge services were not good. Things changed based on who you talked to. The tour guide that they gave us was a sub-par guide who was not interested in explaining the history or heritage.

Could have been better.

Good location, the staff are friendly.

The room they gave me did not have a working a/c. Didn't realize it at the time I checked in. I spent the first night in the room with a temperature of 24.5 C. Kept adjusting the thermostat but didn't work. Next day, I reported to the front desk and and house engineer was sent to try and correct the problem. When I came back in the afternoon, the a/c was still not working and they have put a fan to cool the room which was still registering 27 degrees C. I reported the problem to the front desk and told them this was not acceptable, so they transferred me to another room which has an excellent view. Although the a/c was working, the temperature in the room was still unsatisfactory, registering at 22 degrees C. I reported the problem, they sent an engineer to check, he adjusted the thermostat to 18.5 degrees and assured me it was going to work. Well, it did not, it settled at 22 degrees. Also, I requested for a hair dryer which did not work, Also, the housekeeper forgot to leave hand towels in the room. I got tired of complaining and since I only have two nights to go, I just decide to let the problems go. Also the room was advertised on Booking.Com to have view of the park, but the first room they put me in had a view of the roof of the restaurant. The second room the hotel moved me to did have an excellent view of the park.

It’s a great location and provided comfortable clean rooms. The attention of all workers are very nice.

The food can be pricey for regular items. But the quality it’s there so didn’t mind much. The rooms are starting to show their age and might need a refresh soon.
