Friendly and professional personnel. The pension is just across the street of the Europa Park. Flexibility in the check in or check out times (low season but during an international tech event). Room was very spacious with an entrance with a table for 6, a big room with a king size bed, a staple bed, a sofa and a crib. A very big vintage (60s or 70s style) toilet. Breakfast was included with a good choice.
The pension is a bit outdated in look, my entrance door was not sealed perfectly (light passing trough) and the sofa was dirty (the hotel didn't made it dirty but could have cleaned it). The wifi in my room was unusable, I used my cellphone connection instead. Minor things worth improving.

Location is unbeatable, right outside entrance to park. Breakfast was decent enough and free parking included. Checkin was easy and staff were friendly enough. Close to many food options and easy to drive in and out.
No dark curtains, only see through white ones that stop people seeing in but don't stop light. We visited in November so wasn't a massive issue, but still annoying due to outside lights going on and off. In summer you'll have light from 5am to 10pm.

When we arrived first day the personal was really kind and explained us everything very well. They gave us a better room that we booked with the fishes on the ground it is very cute :-) The breakfast is pretty good not a lot of choices but still good breakfast and good products. So sure we will come back.
The second day the personal was not kind we where ready going to the rollercoaster for the opening and at 8:30 and we had to wait 30 minutes that the women came back then the card machine for the payement didn't work and had to go te get cash that added taxes to our trip and finally get late to our rouler coasters.. We proposed to come back after the closure of the park not to bet late but she refused.
