Grand Hotel. Nice Beeakfast. A little dated but reasonably comfortable. Modernisation needed.

Good location for Thomond Park. Breakfast was quite nice.

The hotel is clean. It is grand but needs modernisation. Lack of plugs, especially near the bedside lockers and beside the kettle. Room is ok but dated, needs modernisation also. Bathroom was quite nice. Bit pricey for the level of standard.

Friendly, warm , authentic.

This place holds a place in my heart as I went here since I was a child and it's like a second home.The staff are THE most incredible , friendly , kind and helpful humans! Always greeting you with a smile from the amazing reception team to the bar staff to the cleaning crew and everyone couldn't do enough for us.There is a gorgeous fire in the cosy bar area in the morning where we had our delicious home cooked meal and the locals dropped in for a friendly chat.It will always personally be my special place in Limerick as it holds special memories and l especially love the fabulous staff.

Nothing bad to write.If you want an authentic experiences with great friendly staff it's the place to go.Its a bit like visiting home.

Old Style Beautiful Hotel with kind Staff, But comes with cold rooms and old beds as well

This is an old traditional accomodation. The guy in the reception (sorry I could not catch the name) was very very nice and helpful. There is a restaurant where locals go in the hotel. Parkin lot is a beautiful comfort. Room and bathroom were big.

When we arrived around 16-17.00 our room was cold although the radiator in both room and bathroom were on. We asked the reception, they said it has a timer going off and on, they do not want it too hot up there (!).We told them our room is very cold. They said they will open it and it was on in the room. It got warm a little after couple of hours. During night we got up getting cold, and it was off again. In the morning it was on when we were leaving. The beds were old I believe considering I felt the springs in my ribs when I was laying. If you are okay with cold, and willing to experience to stay in an old style hotel, you should choose here.

Very comfortable stay with good breakfast.

I was pleased with the room. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were just the right height for me. That is unusual. They are often too high or too low. These were just right for me. The bathroom was clean and the shower was great with two shower heads. The large one is amazing and covers your whole body. Breakfast was delicious and I left feeling full and content.

One slightly disappointing thing was the view from my window. But that isn't a big problem because I was only in the room overnight. I stress it is only a very minor disappointment. The room was a little warm for me because I prefer a cool bedroom. But I was able to turn down the thermostat on the radiator and it was fine. Overall I was very happy with my stay.

Very Comfortable and Service with a Smile.

Easy parking onsite. Friendly welcome by reception staff. Comfortable room and a varied bar food menu. Food and beverages were served by polite and friendly. The Hotel is within walking distance of Thomond Park Stadium, Limerick Lawn Tennis Club and the Gaelic Grounds.

Very good stay in Limerick!

Free car park and large bedroom, the bed was large and comfy. Courtesy Tea and coffee much appreciated, It was very clean and the employees were very kind and helpful.

The furniture and the bedroom general features looks a bit outdated and The tv was very small. the breakfast was a bit disappointing

Every member of staff I've encountered during my frequent stays have been a credit to their organisation. Leanne (in Reception) has always been exceedingly friendly and helpful, particularly when I've had to make last minute bookings or to cancel reservations. The restaurant offerings are always varied, fresh and plentiful.

Good location near town, upgraded us to " family room" ( choice of comfortable beds), ample parking.

Of the five B&B's, hotels we lodged in last week, this hotel had the most ( and it was competitive for " BAD TV") an awful, terrible, Non- existent TV channel selection. Not the reason we lodged there, but bring a good book.

Good place to stay out of city centre.

Room was clean. Bar/ restaurant had a good vibe. Food was good. Staff very friendly and attentive. Got bus from airport (343) which stopped right across road from property. Word of warning this bus only accepts cash. Good bus service into Limerick.

Unfortunately our room had an air con unit outside it ( 215). This hummed all night and made sleep difficult for me.

We enjoyed are stay. Staff were fabulous and meals excellent and lovely sunroom dining area and bar.

Older style hotel with steep stairs but staff were there to help with the luggage which was fantastic. The bar and meal, including breakfast were delicious and in a lovely sunroom area. Location great as close to the city. Rooms are a bit tired but that's the only negative.. We enjoyed our stay and can def recommend.

Descent hotel, would stay again

So the place has free parking and is conveniently located, so it's easy to reach the city. The room was a descent size and the staff was nice. They also have a nice pub with local beer selection downstairs which was super cool. There is a grocery store walking distance down the road too.

Unfortunately, we were freezing over thr night - for some reason the radiators only started working in the early morning, so the room was freezing when we arrived and didn't heat until we left. We asked for the heat to be turned on but nothing happened.

Great traditional pub guest house

The Woodfield has traditional pub rooms. Yes, the decor is a little dated, but overall it’s actually quite charming. The room was super cosy with lovely soft carpet and comfy bed. Nice & warm too. Perfect place to stop off to break up the journey from Kerry - ample parking, quiet, close to the motorway, great bar for a pint & bite to eat. We’ve stayed several times and will definitely return.

Pity the breakfast isn’t included in the price. Other than that, nothing.

The location was very good and the condo of the property was very nice.

I liked the cleanliness and the fact that my luggage was carried up the stairs because there was no elevator. Much appreciated.

The room was a bit small and the elevator was missed. Also on a Sat evening our room was above the bar. It was noisy until around 11:00.

We stayed for 2 nights and the room was big, everything was clean, and the restaurant service was very good. The personal is very kind and nice.
