Great location. Giorgio very helpful and informative. He accomodated our early arrival which was great, it allowed us to unpack, freshen up and head out sightseeing, making the most of the day.

Maison Risorgimento is a gem within the Prati district near the Vatican. The area itself is beautiful, clean, and safe, even when walking around at night. The location is fantastic: there are lots of shops and cafés/restaurants in the neighborhood. The metro is a fifteen-minute walk away, though we mostly made use of the bus - there are several stops a couple of minutes away that will take you to all the big attractions. The boutique hotel itself is charming! We were staying in the Blue Room, and while there were a few elements of the room that could perhaps use a little TLC (wallpaper had peeled a little, and the toilet seat was a little loose, but honestly, it didn't bother us much, especially since everything else was pretty much perfect), it was a truly wonderful room, spacious for two people, with a clean private bathroom as well. A huge plus for us was that it was quiet and peaceful! This was an absolute benefit when you just wanted to rest and sleep after exploring the Eternal City, and Maison Risorgimento definitely felt like an oasis of restfulness right in the hustle and bustle of Via Cola di Rienzo. The room is cleaned every day by a very friendly cleaner, and Giorgio, the Property Manager, was welcoming, friendly, and super communicative. Even if your room is not yet ready, or if you've checked out but have a late flight, you can safely leave your luggage in the common area and go exploring. If we ever go back to visit Rome, we'd love to stay here again. Definitely recommended!
