Good location and nice room!

The location was great close to Vatican and supermarket which helped us with costs as we cooked some of our own meals Kitchen facilities were appreciated Room was large and comfortable

Only downside was our own bathroom down the hall but it was never any real problem I suppose I was just surprised

The communication with the host via the Booking.com app was super smooth and efficient. The accommodation is an apartment on the 4th floor of a nice building in a nice part of town, shared between at least 2 south-facing rooms (possibly 3, I couldn't tell), each with its own bathroom across the hallway, all individually lockable. There are shared kitchen facilities, equipped with the basics (salt, frying oil, instant coffee and teabags), some beverages and a full fruit bowl. The bed was comfy and the room was spacious. There is a concierge lady at the bottom of the building who was so friendly and especially helpful on the first day. The location is brilliant - lots of shops and public transport nearby, but also about 30 mins to walk into the historic centre.

Really not much to say here, no serious issues to report. The bedding and the pillows especially didn't smell super-duper clean, and the pillows are a little bit firm and thin if you're a side-sleeper, but the mattress is comfortable. It's on a busy road, but you're quite high up so the air and the noise are ok - maybe not if you left the windows open at night, so could be a problem in hotter seasons. I don't remember seeing an A/C unit. Some of the kitchen fittings are getting a little old, e.g. there are some electrical cables that look like they might need professional attention, the kettle is a bit eccentric. The window in the kitchen has a very loose handle, so it can't really be opened. We had a minor plumbing issue on the first night, but I messaged the host and it was fixed the next day. It's an historic apartment block, so there's not much acoustic privacy, but I think it's worth it for the period charm.
