This was one of the highlights of our stay in Japan. The house has everything that is needed for a comfortable stay and located in the tea house district.
It’s not really a dislike but a second bed in one of the rooms would make for a more comfortable stay when you rent the house for multiple days.

Hard to fault such a well kept and fully featured historical building. We had a great stay for two nights and would love to return some day.
The walls can be a little thin in the night and due to the nature of the area tourists may try to peek under the frosted windows downstairs. Didnt bother us adversely, but we did notice.
