Absolutely beautiful property. So comfortable. Outdoor bath was a treat. Staff met at property and were extremely attentive and offered amazing dinner recommendations.

One of the best possible stays you can experience in the Ishikawa area. This little and tidy two-story house has a Japanese-style living room (ground floor) and two bedrooms (first floor, one with a bed and one with a futon) with tatami. There is a kitchen and also a nice washing machine, very helpful if you plan to stay during the hot summer in Japan. However, the main selling point of this house is the bath (furo) and a small private garden. There are two furos: one inside and one (semi-)outside toward the private garden. The inside one is large enough to fit 2-3 people (note that you need to use a metal bar next to it to flush it out). There is a small window overlooking the private garden, allowing you to enjoy the view while taking a bath. The outside one is smaller (wooden bath in the picture), but it may give you some vibes if you test it out during winter. The host is very friendly and will respond to you swiftly (they live nearby). Highly recommended for couples and families.

Almost nothing. One minor issue is that there are so many light switches for the bathroom, so I had to spend some time figuring out which one corresponds to which. It would be nicer if we had a label on the switch. Also, be aware that all bedrooms are located on the first floor, in case you have difficulty with stairs (I was fine).
