A pleasant stay overall! Very close to the higashi chaya district, which was a nice plus.
We were traveling in 5, so 3 people shared one room, while 2 people shared the tatami room. There is not too much space to eat food inside: we ordered delivery, but there is no big table for all of us to eat so that was the only issue.
Overall, a really beautiful place to stay!

We loved the small and local feel of this Machiya House. The space was clean and had a wonderful design. Will be staying again when coming back!

Cute little place. Would not recommend for anyone with kids or bad knees as the stairs are quite steep.
