Lovely rooms with fab pizza.

Beautiful rooms with terrace area attached to the main house but you felt very separate. The bonus here is the pizza restaurant run by the couple at the entrance to the house. The pizzas are made in a wood fired oven and are fabulous. The restaurant is run by the couple who are very helpful, friendly, and efficient. We really appreciated the great food and service after having completed a busy season in catering ourselves. Breakfast was also very good and plentiful. Lovely walks for our dog on the doorstep also a bonus. Thank you for a lovely relaxing stay.

It is a very nice property in Chinon. With incredible pizza restaurant which was full on a Sunday night and is renown in the region. Staying there we had the privilege to get a table.. The yard had flowers and the pool was covered and clean. The room was big and very nice. This place is surrounded by vineyards. We would like to stay longer and explore the region. There are beautiful views of Chinon and its castle.

Delightful apartment just south of Chinon

Beautiful, well appointed apartment in a lovely building. The apartment was quiet and spacious and had everything we needed, including in the kitchen. Staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful. We'd love to return in the summer and take advantage of the pool!

Home away from home

Comfort, quiet, clean, lovely decoration and very nice staff (including a sweet dog). The amazing meal at the pizzeria was an added bonus. They even prepared a special pizza without gluten and lactose because one of our family members has food allergies. Highly recommend!!!!!!!

Beautiful property, super kind hosts who were very accomodating to our dog and vegan food requirements. Also fantastic to have the resturant so you can have something to eat and drink in the evening even though you are in the middle of the beautiful wine country.

We really enjoyed our stay and the hosts were very hospitable.

Loved the location, the breakfast, the pool and the hosts Annik and Sébastien. Le petit déjeuner was excellent, really set us up for the day. Vey peaceful and not far from Chinon a wam and friendly town. Bike rides are great. I can highly recommend La Bonne Note. We stayed 3 nights but could easily stay longer.

Staying longer would be better.

Friendly host, lovely location just outside Chinon, walking distance to a bakery. Nice to have a patio to be able to sit or eat outside. Pizzas were delicious!

it was a beautiful collection of traditional Gite style accommodation with all the amenities we needed for our brief stay.

Superb

We had a lovely 2 bedroom apartment right by the pool with its own terrace and outdoor furniture - we really liked the drying rack that was provided for our swimming things. The rooms were nicely decorated and 2 large fans provided. We ate at the hotel's pizza restaurant in the evening which was fantastic. Breakfast the next morning was also wonderful and excellent value - we were stuffed! Le Bonne Note is in a great location just outside Chinon looking over vine fields towards the chateau. It's a very attractive complex and the owners are charming. We would definitely stay again!

The spiral staircase in the apartment was a little bit tricky for us as we're a very tall family and it wouldn't be suitable for anyone with mobility issues or very small children.

Fun one-night stay on a hot summer day with a twelve-year-old.

We are a retired couple traveling by bicycle with our 12-year-old grandson. We arrived on a very warm day after a long (for our grandson) ride from Azay-le-Rideau. We all jumped right into the pool, then showered and relaxed in our room for a little while. We had trouble with the wifi not staying connected, and needed to do some work online. Our host suggested that we try the network in the pizzeria on the property, which worked a little better. It was pretty easy to just order pizza, cold drinks, and dessert, and eat right there--which made for a very relaxing and fun night for all three of us. We also added on breakfast the next morning, which was wonderful. We completely enjoyed our stay.

We needed stronger and consistent wifi. Everything else was great!

The perfect location in the Loire valley

It is absolutley amazing, quiet location ! Perfect host, fantastic breakfast. The room was very comfortable, even in the terrible heat it was very nice inside. The swimming pool catered for all needs. Guests can sit out on the small terrace, relax on the sun loungers. In the area you can walk through the vineyards, the castle is 40 minutes walk away. I can only recommend, I think we will return for a longer stay. Thanks for everything , kisses to the dogs !

A very light and bright unit with well equipped kitchen. Comfortable seating area. Unit was very clean and surrounding area in the vineyards made for a good walk.

challenging and squeaky spiral staircase to the bedrooms. not for the mobility challenged. Narrow stone steps up to front door, again not for the physically challenged! Fine for us, but I could see problems for elderly or disabled.
