Maurice was an exceptional host, very welcoming and very helpful with advice about restaurants etc. Breakfast was a feast and had an extensive choice of high quality food. Our room was very comfortable and spacious and full of character in this original Chinon building, tastefully refurbished. We would love to return for another stay when we are next in Chinon!

This hotel is I think one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. It is absolutely full of character and beautifully decorated, the rooms are so individual and well thought out. It is far more like stepping into a very loved home as a guest. The bathroom is also so lovely and when it comes to breakfast there is so much high quality choice. Finally and by no means least the host Maurice is very charming. I have already recommended this to two other friends it is so nice.

Beautiful historic house, warm, professional and welcoming host. Excellent breakfast and many beautiful settings to admire. Bedroom Claude was very nicely furnished, large and extremely comfortable. Definitely in the nicest part of Chinon and surrounded by beautiful architecture.
