A beautiful property with a wonderful host. Maurice was so kind and thoughtful. Nothing was too much trouble, including helping me locate new dresses after they were left behind. The rooms had everything you could need. Very clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful time (remember Maurice, Tea Pot)

I rate this hotel 100 out of 10. The interiors are magnificent, the owner is very kind and responsive. Maurice loves Chinon, knows its history, and puts his heart and soul into the hotel. The room is very comfortable, the bathroom has everything you need, including slippers and robes. The bed is very comfortable. Special thanks for the wonderful breakfast. It has everything even the pickiest gourmet could desire – fragrant pastries, four types of juice, jams, preserves, fruit, and even baked apples. I highly recommend this place. Thank you, Maurice!

A truly wonderful gem of a place, Maurice is an absolutely wonderful welcoming host, always helpful. We have stayed many times, passing through with our pets. Within walking distance to the main square, a gorgeous courtyard, beautifully appointed bedrooms and downstairs areas.
There is nothing to dislike.
