Hosts Bryce and Rebecca were most hospitable, helpful, and accommodating. Breakfast was always fresh and offered many options. The outdoor space for the room we had was fabulous and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside on our little terrace space or sheltering from the sun under their gorgeous tree as we soaked up a stunning view. The access to the medieval quarter was amazing: in less than a minute we were in the heart of the old town. The house is gorgeous and beautifully appointed, feeling like a true home, filled with books and art. The room was spacious and came with a little kitchen space and a private bathroom.

If you are thinking of booking- STOP AND BOOK RIGHT NOW! This is a great place with lovely helpful hosts, perfectly situated at the beginning of a road (partly pedestrianized) of restaurants and shops and close to the river. Bryce and Rebekah went above and beyond - booking a restaurant for us (Bistrot Les Tanins- one of the best meals we have had in France), printing out information for us, advising us about parking (we were fortunate and managed to get a free space for our whole stay) and even packing our left over breakfast into a bag so we could have a picnic lunch. The breakfast was great and eaten in a stunning dining room. Cereal, fruit juice, coffee and tea, yoghurt (try the Elderflower if it is on offer- possibly the nicest yoghurt I have ever eaten), fruit salad, pastries, bread, cold meats and cheeses. Our room was beautiful- large with a seating area, a bathroom and separate little room with a fridge (water and milk in it)-biscuits and generous amounts of coffee (both instant and for a machine) and tea, wine glasses, drinking glasses and mugs. Out through a door off that room was the garden- so many sitting areas to choose from! You can access the street from the garden too so you didn’t have to come and go through the front door.

Loved the location and ambiance of the property. Our hosts were exceptionally welcoming, friendly and helpful. Luckily we were there during the CHINON Classic weekend which, as a lover of vintage vehicles was a great bonus!

No possibility to park within the accommodation but we were aware of this and managed to park quite close to the property.

Beautiful and pleasant place, clean and thoughtful attention to detail in the room for guests, delicious breakfast, very kind, attentive and friendly hosts.
