Fabulous hosts , really couldn’t do enough for us . Amazing breakfasts , meticulously prepared and presented . Their garden was beautiful and an absolute treat in the heat . Lots of shaded seated areas overlooking the river .Our room had everything you’d need , bed was so comfortable. The house was just beautiful . Chinon was just a fabulous town to visit.
I really couldn’t fault it . There was no parking on site but we were able to park for free very close to the house ( don’t make this a deal breaker you will regret not staying here )

It had an historical background which the owners were pleased to tell us about. It had character at every turn. Beautifully and tastefully decorated which was in keeping with a building of its era. The outside was an abundance of flowers with our own garden and a comfortable seating area.
We honestly can not think about anything we didn’t like
