Great place, great hosts, you will like it here !

This place is great! The Scottish / English couple that runs it are super friendly and helpful. The room is excellent with a on-suite bathroom. The garden area is very nice. Had our morning coffee out there and evening wine as well. Nice stroll to the Chateau de Chinon and many restaurants. This is a gem!

Parking, like everywhere in France it is a pain to find a place for the night. Luckily, the owners sent us a map of where we can park for free. Again, they are super helpful.

A relaxing stay in Chinon

My partner and I stayed at Les Destinees for 2 nights during our visit to Chinon. Bryce and Rebecca were the most fantastic hosts - we received a very warm welcome when we arrived, they were on hand for tips about the town, and cared about making our stay comfortable and easy. We really loved the room we stayed in - it's spacious and has a private feel to it. The house and garden were also beautiful, and conveniently right near the fortress. The breakfast was delicious - we enjoyed a range of locally sourced produce; cheeses, bread, cured meats, pastries, granola, museli, yoghurt were all offered! Thank you for our relaxing stay in Chinon :)

Geweldig mooie steilvolle B&B

Very friendly hosts Bryce and Rebecca made our stay never forget. We were welcomed in a stylish french manor house. The interior design of the house was tasteful to the smallest details. The breakfast served was more than complete. The house is in the old town. You can park in front of the house. And you are in the medieval street when you leave the backyard’s gate.

Beautiful property situated right in the centre of town but affording total privacy at the same time. Large, well appointed, comfortable room and bathroom with access to garden. Generous and very welcoming and helpful hosts.

Great stay in Chinon

We loved our stay with Rebecca and Bryce. It was more like staying with friends. The location is superb and the property full of character and charm. We'd certainly stay again while visiting Chinon.

French charm at it's best

Lovely house that perfectly blends old with modern. The bed was the most comfortable we've ever slept in. It's worth finding time to explore the garden to find your own private niche. Florent had loads of great ideas for things to do and kindly let us park the bike off the road. Breakfast was great, made with homemade and locally sourced products. A real treat !

The property ticket all our box’s the breakfast was exceptional

The only criticism would be the temperature of the room when we arrived. we couldn’t adjust it as it was fixed on a timer ! The owner gave us another blanket which was wonderful. we had a perfect nights sleep !

Beautiful historic home in central location with great host.

Great location, beautifully restored old house with lots of character. but clean uncluttered room. Bed was very comfortable and bed linen and towels clean and fresh. Our host Floren was very welcoming and had a great outside barn type area where we could secure and recharge our e bikes. Floren also mad a great recommendation for dinner, and managed to secure us a cancellation on a Friday evening! Breadasr was the best we have had on the trip, with home made yoghurt, fresh fruit and granola in addition to artisanal bread, pastries and jams.

Delightful stay in Chinon!

Florent is an exceptional host. The care and detail he went to was way above and beyond our expectations. The breakfast was included and was very very good - homemade yogurt, fresh local breads and croissants, freshly pressed juices, fresh fruit, as well as locally sourced confitures that we’re something to look forward to each morning. It was delightful and we will be sure to recommend Led Destinees! Thank you, Florent for a lovely experience in Chinon!

We loved everything about this place. Our room had a door to the terrace where we enjoyed some wine in the garden with the castle lit up in the background. Beautiful!

An absolute must stay in hotel!

One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. The room was spacious and comfortable and beautifully furnished, it had a fantastic bathroom too. The building, gardens and hotel in general are beautifully cared for, exquisitely designed and exceptionally clean. The gentleman who greeted us was lovely and friendly, giving us recommendations of things to do and places to eat. Breakfast was sublime, full of local and homemade produce. And then there’s the location, overlooked by the fortress! I wish we could have stayed longer.

Nice old, perfectly renovated building. Best breakfast I had in France. Location in the begining of pedestrian street. No problem with parking. 15 min for free by the hotel and information provided about were to park for the night.

We were happy to stay at this property

Very cozy house with a garden and view on the castle tower. The house is newly renovated, stylish and decorated with a good taste. Rich library, beautiful 19 century style furniture, big bright dining room with a fireplace, wooden stairs with decorations. Breakfast is very delicious and prepared with a care. The owner is very helpful and friendly (thanks for the recommendation on the restaurant L’Oceanic!) The room is bright and large, nicely decorated, the bathroom is big with two windows. It would be good to have an air conditioner, but the fan was also helpful.
