This is our third time staying in the Diderot (over 15 years - 10 since last time), great location, lovely little bar, garden is fab, always busy. It is quite dated and old fashioned, not a hotel standard bed or shower, feels more like your grandmother's house, BUT it is perfect and good value. If you are in Chinon, go to Les Annee Trente restaurant, as it is fabulous ....

Lovely staff, breakfast was OK. Room was nice and clean. Overall, a nice hotel convenient for the centre of Chinon
Parking is quite limited. Room was far too hot, with limited ventilation.
