We were just passing through, stayed 1 night. It was a wonderful memory.

The property is gorgeous, full of history and artifacts. A tour is included in your stay. The breakfast was perfection, a little bit of everything made by the owner and topped off by a visit from Cocoa her puppy. Delightful.

One of the most beautiful places.

Great house, nice host , beautiful garden and pool. And the breakfast is top notch. We were also invited to a tour and tasting at the family’s balsamic boutique factory.

The property was lovely & the staff were very friendly. The tour of the balsamic vinegar process was great.

The rooms have no air conditioning, which we did know when booking & we did have a fan. It was very hot but it was lovely to have the pool & beautiful gardens.

peace and tranquillity

we enjoyed our stay here very much, peace, tranquility , beautiful grounds, with an English style garden of small hedges and lots of lovely places to sit and relax, a lovely swimming pool, although we never actually used it. breakfast, and the lady who served breakfast was especially lovely, the breakfast room was delightful with the great doors open to enjoy the view of the courtyard . the balsamico was lovely but we did not have time I enjoy the tour, ( although we have enjoyed that at another acetaia previously) . room very roomy and traditional. and a little ciao to Jacky the dog! we recommend this haven to everyone

balsamico tasting

1 small bottle of complimentary water for 2 persons is not sufficient and further charging of 2 euro per bottle puts us off. Eggs for breakfast are charged at further 3 euro. There is also no shampoo and conditioner provided

The property is beautiful, decorated with great taste, and perfectly located between the beautiful Italian countryside and great cities to visit. Breakfast is good and the hosts are very welcoming!

very nice country house with a huge garden, friendly staff and nice and clean rooms

for our booking it was fairly expensive for what it was. there was nothing wrong with the place but just a bunch of small little things that added up, eg.: the ‘deluxe room’ is a simple room with a bed and bathroom, nothing ‘deluxe’ about it. we were sent a ‘check-in’ email with a link that didn’t work. the check-out has to be in a set 1.5h window. although we had traveled 24hrs and then a wedding to attend to, they weren’t flexible for a later checkout than 10am on a Sunday (we were told we could sleep by the pool. it was cold and rainy that day). the breakfast was very limited and they even charged 3€ for a boiled egg from their own chickens. if you’re willing to look past all that i’m sure it’s a nice stay. however, you could easily find much cheaper options in the area.

Beautiful place with no air conditioner

The place is beautiful but the room had no air conditioner and due to the heat outside (40° aprox) it was no way to stay in there, so we had to move to other place. I guess during “regular” temperatures is a very nice place to stay. The staff was very nice and we had a vinagar tour that was interesting, also their vinegar taste realy good.

The property was beautiful with stunning gardens and an authentic feel to it. Our hostess gave us an excellent and informative tour that we thoroughly enjoyed. We loved the personable feel to it and getting to know the history of the balsamic production.

Even though the room was a great representation of the house and the property it felt like we are visiting somebody’s home. Rooms have high ceilings and feel airy but not cosy. The bathroom (although private) was located in the hallway and did not feel comfortable. Breakfast was underwhelming. Charging an extra cost for eggs seemed strange in my opinion.

Beautiful and unique estate to relax and learn more about balsamic vinegar

Beautiful, inspiring and peaceful estate. Lovely, spacious rooms with a personal touch of the owner's fashion history. Very authentic and relaxing. Delicious breakfast, to be booked additionally, where they also serve their own balsamic vinegar. Plus the owners also offer a private balsamic tour/tasting during the stay!!

The double room suite for 4-5 pax has only one bathroom. One room is towards the street - not ideal if noise sensitive.

Wonderful location for relaxing

The well designed room, the wonderful garden and pool area. The breakfast was great for Italian breakfasts (fruits, selfmade Cake and croissants, ham, eggs, coffee & tea, cereals, marmalade, Balsamico of course...) Very clean Very friendly hosts Relaxing atmosphere In recommend the free Balsamico tasting. I really love the Balsamico I bought there.

Very nice building and villa. Rooms not really DeLuxe (no airco only small fan) They allow dogs but quite little place to walk with dog. Big garden but unfortunately most is private and access not allowed to clients. Dog access to pool also forbidden. Interesting tour to understand balsamico. Rita was very nice.

Familär geführte romantische Unterkunft

Das typisch italienische Ambiente mit Palazzo, der Garten und die Balsamicoverkostung. Frühstück war mit regionalen Produkten inkl. Balsamico aus dem eigenen Haus. Zu unsere Zeit waren die Mücken sehr aktiv. Auf dem Zimmer war Mückenschutzspray vorhanden und Fliegengitter am Fenster.
