The private pontoon complete with BBQ and fire pit a short walk down the hill was magical. The grounds were lovely and the view over the Isle of Mull from the top of the hill was spectacular.
We had teenage kids so WiFi would have helped but it was actually quite nice that they couldn’t use it. Netflix worked so they were pretty happy. A gate on our little garden would have been nice for the dogs as we didn’t want them running after the chickens or sheep.

Look no further for a quiet, peaceful holiday in a very comfortable house surrounded by stunning landscapes - Oban Seil Farm is it! We stayed here for one week (unfortunately only that), and found it easy to unwind from our stressful day to day life.
Bette and Nick welcomed us with a lovely goodie basket and were wonderful and helpful hosts throughout! Not to forget Ronja the dog who gratefully received daily cuddles from us.
Seil Island is small but beautiful, with lots of wildlife and beautiful views all around. Oban with shopping and dining opportunities a plenty is only 20 Minute away.
We had a truly wonderful stay and hope to come back one day!
No negatives to be found here! We didn't even care about the bad internet, actually quite the opposite. To plan our daily trips we sat outside in the yard with good reception. In the evenings we helped ourselves to the well sorted bookshelf or played games instead of being on our smartphones.

Wonderful position, warm and welcoming - both the property, and proprietors.
Plenty of room, and great views, and walks.
A very minor comment- but it's nice, even with self-catering, to have one or two basics there upon arrival (salt, pepper, tea, coffee).

Well equipped. Truly beautiful setting. Very comfortable. We only met our host upon arrival …. he was very pleasant, helpful and convivial.
Bedroom upstairs, bathroom downstairs made for slightly precarious nocturnal staircase negotiation. Hot water supply in kitchen was constrained, presumably to save energy. Quite stringent requirements re: waste disposal, linen and general handling of unit upon exit.
