Quiet, isolated hideaway with views over Conwy Valley.

Lovely, character property with plenty of space for a family get together, on the outskirts of Conwy. Five very comfortable bedrooms, one en suite and another shared bathroom. Well equipped kitchen and separate dining room with a good supply of crockery, cutlery, pots and pans. Lounge had ample seating and a smart TV. There was a big basket of logs, by the hearth, for the log burner (which we didn’t need to use). The house was clean, cosy and warm with plenty of hot water, fresh towels and crisp bed linen. The host left tea/coffee/sugar for us to use. We used some of the apples from the garden to make a pie! Instructions for directions and self check in were clear and well communicated. Beautiful views from an elevated position. Fabulous dark skies for star gazing. Local countryside walks from the house in several directions.

The roads to the property were narrow and winding with very few passing places. The drive to the house was not for the faint hearted or older, nervous drivers. There were several gates to pass through on the driveway to the place … in and out of the car to open and close them. Obviously, necessary to keep animals on the land secure and not a problem for the younger members of our family to deal with. However, I wouldn’t recommend the location to older people with limited mobility.

Beautiful farmhouse cottage in stunning setting with incredible coastal views

The property is absolutely ideal for those who want peace and quiet and those who might be concerned that noisy children may disturb neighbours- not an issue here. There is every resource and amenity you may need and enough space to spread out inside and out. The secure enclosed garden area is again ideal for young children.

Not at all a complaint but simply to balance the review. The property is situated high above Conwy and has stunning views all around. To get to the property there is a couple of miles of very narrow country roads that can be challenging if you meet traffic from the opposite direction. The beautiful setting and quality of this property is well worth the extra effort to get there.

Lovely mother & daughter weekend in a rural setting

The location great and was a good size we could have individual bedrooms was cosy lovely log burner water nice and hot Well equipped

The kitchen sink pipes constantly air locked so noisy particularly for one bedroom at night. Needed an ice cube tray please. No small sharp knives would be lovely if garden was cleared to improve view when sitting outside.

Excellent cottage and we will stay again

A beautiful cottage and well equipped. It was a family event with 9 adults. The kitchen was well laid out with additions like foil, salt and pepper , cooking oil. All appliances worked well and the wifi was excellent and free. We will stay here again

The directions to the cottage were correct , but unless you are used to driving single track roads it is a little further than expected and it almost feels like you have missed the turning for the cottage. Keep going and it is worth it. There are actually 3 gates to open and pass through to get to the cottage.

Lovely property but not for the nervous driver

Beautiful view and very peaceful

More could have been made of difficulty approaching the property with regards to the roads and tracks. Also the written instructions on how to get there were inaccurate. Omitting the turning to the right at the junction before the fish and chip shop. We eventually got to the property an hour later and in quite a disconcerted frame of mind.

Superb

We are a group of friends reuniting for the weekend .We had a lovely stay in Hafodty.A truly beautiful,traditional farmhouse in a remote location but only a taxi ride from the historic town of Conwy.The views were amazing from all of the windows . A gorgeous and efficient log burner made the spacious lounge cosy and very warm .Bedding and accessories were of a high standard and very attractive.The kitchen was very well equipped . Would definitely love to go back when the weather is warmer for better walking conditions..Will highly recommend Hafodty .

Our only very small complaint was a low pressure shower .

Amazing house!

The house is beautiful and clean beyond expectation. The house was warmed when we arrived. There was everything we need: loads of towels, kitchen utensils, tableware. The view from the house is amazing. Owner really friendly and available when needed.

A bit difficult to find the place at first but the owner were really helpful in guiding us.

Family Christmas Break

The property was very homely and had everything that we could possibly need. The location was superb, remote and very peaceful. Fantastic views. The beds were extremely comfortable, we all slept very well. The log fire was brilliant too.
