Astagina Resort Villa and Spa

We enjoyed our stay here it is relatively close to the beach which we liked. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had at a motel of this type , it really made our stay that much better also incredibly good coffee!!

An area I think lets them down is the check in process, it is 3 pm - who does that ! And to rub salt into that the lady knew we were waiting and said she would txt us when it was ready …. No txt was sent and our luggage was still at reception after 3 pm . Poor service really

Everything, I couldn’t fault it. Would definitely stay here again. Really nice place and really nice staff.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and quiet. There is room service available. The buffet breakfast had a huge variety of foods available, more than any other place I stayed. It was easy to get around Legian walking from there. You are right in the middle of the hubbub. There is a cheap laundry and cheap massage place just down the alley going out to the road. It’s a good place for a night or two before flying back home.

The room was pretty small. The balcony overlooked nothing. There was a strange window between the bathroom and the bedroom. I was alone but could just imagine a couple- one on the bed and the other on the toilet staring at each other. :) The pool area feels a little crowded. There were a lot of Australians drinking and being loud. The location is good if you want to be in the touristy area but I found it a bit overwhelming. The beach close to the hotel was dirty and unappealing just because there are too many tourists.

No power plugs near bed or bed side table . The towels look very old like a towel you’d dry your dog with . It down a very awkward lane way that takes 10 5- Minutes to walk down depending how fast your are
