The loud air conditioning, the quality of the room, the continuous maintenance (consistent angle grinding) and front desk staff (grounds and restaurant staff were excellent).

Overall it was a nice stay and we would definitely come back.

The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. The room has a good size. The breakfast was amazing with heaps of verity.

In need of new towels and the silicon in the shower needs to be replaced. We had once dinner at the hotel, that didn’t taste good and the portion was quite small.

Great stay in Bali

The b'fast was really good, 5 star, and tasty... we stayed there for 4 days and each day they changed the b'fast menu. which is really good, else it good be boring. Room was good, bit old, but well kept and maintained. It has a nice view of the pool. The main pool is great and nice. Liked the vibe Loved the b'fast location as it is surrounded by koi fishers.

Kids less than 5 yrs are not allowed to the main pool even with water safety equipment, like tube or floaties, which is bit annoying. Kids less than 5 yrs have to go to the family pool which you cannot see from the main pool, so an adult has to go with the kid to the family pool :-(

The staff were fantastic, rooms couldnt have been any better and the entire trip was more than we anticipated! I love the additional gestures the staff made setting up our room for our anniversary and the care they showed for our kids

Won’t stay again despite good location

The air con was nice and cold Comfortable beds

the music played at the pool was horrible and too loud - people were trying to relax and they had horrible loud nightclub musc with swearing. The suite rooms were cramped and the jacuzzi didn’t work Breakfast options were a little limited. Incorrectly charged for a beer (we don’t drink alcohol) and took half hour to sort out (made us feel like we were trying to rip them off) The shower in the suite was in a corner and not very nice to use- the other room had shower over bath and the water leaked everywhere.

Bali home away from home

The Customer Service, from guest communications to housekeeping, pool atrendants, maintenance and gardening staff, security,spa staff and restaurant staff, everyone is professional but still personable, happy and smiling and always willing to assist when needed. The Location is perfect for Beach, restaurants and shopping. The Cleanliness, even though it's older style and has obvious wear and tear, all staff work tirelessly maintaining it to a very high standard of cleanliness.

I wish there were more indonesion sweets and street food options in the breakfast buffet. Klepon,dadar gulung, little sweet rice parcels in banana leaf and boiled eggs :) etc.

A lovely quiet location about 900 m from the beach🏝️

Two pools they were nice to lie around that protection from the sun

We were upgraded to a villa because our ground floor villa was not available. The stairs were a problem as we are in our late 70s.

Excellent and friendly staff.

Fantastic staff! Accommodation was everything we could want. Clean and spacious . The property was beautiful. The pool area was set up really well with day beds and lounges.

This is not a criticism but if anyone has mobility issues the stairs maybe an issue as the bedrooms are upstairs. It wasn’t a problem for us.

Cozy place, friendly staff, breakfast buffet was great, beautiful grounds. They made our stay feel special with their notes. Loved the robes in the room.

Location was tricky to find. We were not impressed by the cleaning (dirty bathtub where the water had a sewage smell when we turned it on so we didn't use it, hair in shower drain not removed after cleaning during our whole stay, towels not clean). Lack of hooks in bathroom so we didn't know where to dry our towels.

Peaceful oasis in the middle of it all

Astagina staff were responsive and professional from the booking, to check in and checkout. Upon arrival they upgraded me to a 2brm villa with pool as my 1brm had an issue. The family friendly atmosphere and overall chilled vibe, clean rooms and facilities were a great surprise. Music, dancing and dining were amazing fun, the gazebos provided some privacy around the pool, the beds were the best, and the location was excellent close to everything but still very peaceful. Thank you, Bayu Arya, Wayan and Mei and all the security guards professional and personable, you made our stay truly memorable ❤️

Nothing to dislike. Even the entrace path to the resort was whimsical.

Warm, welcoming and professional staff. Central location 10 minutes walk from the beach. Clean room. Huge pool surrounded by sunbeds.

Constant smell of drains in the room. Creaky floors. Hotel style - we were on the 5th floor. No windows in the room. Shower over bath. Slippery floor in bathroom.

No hot water towels weren’t changed Daily and no proper drainage in the shower it felt like it could only be 1 minute maximum before turned into a bath
