Modern, nice and great for kids

Nice, new modern place to stay! The beds were super comfy, and all the amenities were new. Shower pressure was so good. Breakfast was delicious with the offer of freshly cooked eggs and bacon on offer! The owner was very knowledgeable and gave us some great advice on what to do while we were in Salzburg. Our child loooooved the animals, and the playground outside. We would absolutely come back again!

Nice, clean property just outside of Salzburg. Seemed very safe. Son loved visiting the animals each day.

Could have used more dish towels or paper towels for the kitchen. Shower needs place for soap/shampoo.

Great apartment in a stunning location

Great check-in instructions. Lovely spacious comfortable apartment. Had everything we needed. Small details like a box of tissues provided. Excellent kitchen, good bathroom and comfortable beds. Wifi not great but could be due to the location as data was patchy as well. Stunning quiet location. Easy to drive everywhere. Ample parking. The cutest animals who were very approachable. Rarely have stayed in such a rural setting but I absolutely loved it

Would love to revisit

The location between the mountains was just perfect and relaxed. It has a play ground and some farm animals so kids were always engaged. You can spend relaxing at the property and watch kids play.

Fabulous stay in quiet countryside

What a wonderful, charming, quiet little place in the beautiful countryside. We had a balcony with a view of green hills and some mountains. Occasional visits to the cute, pet-able goats and llamas rounded out the experience. At night we could see the stars, watch bats fly and hear some owls hooting. Kitchen, beds and bathroom were perfect.

Perefect staying with a family

We loved it. The apartment is as on pics, nice and clean, everything what you need for a cooking. The area is quiet, calm and the nature is just beautiful. The owners, mrs and the son, are very nice, anything you need they try to help right away.

A perfect retreat with stunning views!

My husband and I recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at Gut Mitterlehen Elsbethen, and we couldn't be happier with our experience! Mr. Christian was eager to help and provided us with excellent recommendations for places to visit, making our trip even more enjoyable. The location of the property is absolutely perfect. Nestled away from the crowds (you need a car), it served as an ideal base for exploring stunning nearby attractions by car like Hallstatt, Salzburg, Wolfgangsee, Gollinger Waterfalls, Mondsee, and St. Gilgen. Each day, we were treated to breathtaking views that truly added to our getaway. The accommodations were delightful. Our room was cosy, showcasing charming Austrian ambiance, and impeccably clean. Breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious—a great way to start our day. As a couple, we had a fantastic time; however, I can also see how family-friendly this place is. The outdoor space is perfect for children to play while parents relax. Overall, Gut Mitterlehen Elsbethen is a gem that offers a perfect blend of comfort, tranquility, and an ideal starting point for unforgettable adventures in the area. We can’t wait to return!

Our daughter did not want to go back home, she wanted to stay and live here 🙂

Perfect for a longer family stay, there is safe place for kids to play (sandpit, trampoline, swings), a huge yard for bike and car rides and garden to play football. The apartment is spacious and had all equipment we needed. Comfortable beds, big kitchen table to enjoy indoors activities (board games, coloring), nice balcony with amazing view for the morning tea and coffee. There are so many nice places to see nearby as it is a very good location- close to Salzburg for good shops and cafes, but far enough to be able to truly enjoy nature. Our daughter loved all the animals in the farm and she fed the goats every single evening, said hi to them every morning. l

It was an amazing stay. We have travelled around a bit and this ranks very high: excellent quality-price ratio, great surroundings (not only the views, but also the animals around), brand-new apartment with custom-made furniture, spacious in all rooms, plenty of equipments (in the apartment and in the house), perfect location for hiking and visiting Salzburg, and certainly not least - very comfortable beds

Trying to be constructive, only microscopic things: please leave a sponge for the dishes, a couple of tea bags, and - although not a condition at all - it would have been nice to meet the hosts

had no contact with the staff/owner even though it was a working farm and they lived on the property. maybe they were afraid about Covid however all Covid restrictions had been lifted before our trip. still, a welcome or how is your stay, do you need dinner recommendations would have been nice.

Wonderful stay in the mountains

- close proximity to Salzburg and Park + Ride - located right across the street from hiking trails, and a Spar grocery store is conveniently located at the bottom of the mountain - kitchen is fully stocked with equipment - comfortable bed - cute animals on premises (miniature ponies, alpacas, etc) - spacious rooms - washing machine on-site (€2 per use) - drying rack in the room’s balcony

- some windows don’t have mosquito nets so they can come in if left open

A perfect stay with my family

It is a very nice and modern cottage with a small farm and animals. There is a playground and a large possibility to sort waste. The owner is a very nice and kind person. Apartments are large, comfortable, clean, modern. Around the cottage, you can see mountains, meadows... Close to this cottage there are many wonderful lakes (going for a walk, bathing, seeing). I can only recommend this place (two adults and two young children).

Countryside calmness, really worth the price

This is such a nice place!!! If you like countryside feeling, this is a superb location. Alpine housing on top of the hill, you can watch cows and goats from your balcony passing by. Very clean, well organized. Deserves all stars :)
