Home away from home!

We stayed there three different times so we must’ve liked it! It’s difficult to find king or even queen size beds as most places just offer twin and double beds. This was one of the few that had king beds, and the price was better than anything I could find after a lot of looking. The place smells homie as soon as you walk in the door, like something good is cooking.

It’s about a 20 to 25 minute walk downtown but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. It’s away from the noise and there is free parking.

The location was good , about twenty minutes walk to the centre of Inverness, so didn't use the car at all. The bed was lovely and comfortable. The wifi was great. The soap, shampoo etc were very pleasant. The kettle and tea/coffee making facilities were good. The room was a fair size and it was nice to be able to open the windows for fresh air. The wardrobe space was excellent as was the lighting . The decor was pleasant and the room scrupulously clean !

Pillows , just not comfortable. no breakfast which we knew but no bowls or plates etc to be able to make your own. There was a fridge but we didn't use it. You could walk the 20 minutes in to town for breakfast but we didn't and too much hassle to use the car. Lots of gorgeous coffee shops in town centre tho which we sampled at other times if day.

Comfort and location

Amazing location. Wonderfully kind staff. Comfortable king size bed and a shower with it's own hot water tank, ensuring the perfect warm shower every time.

Great Value, gracious hosts, great location, would definitely recommend to a friend

Room was small but very clean and updated. It was on a private street with only 2 parking spots for guests so we parked on the street no problem.

Everything was fine. The room was a little small but plenty of room to accommodate all our things. It was a little bit of the main trail but close enough to go into town for breakfast and a short walk around to see the views. The owners told us where to go to see the good stuff and were very nice.

Very comfortable in a nice house with a sitting room. The Fluke pub across the street was terrific.

Ideal for our stay

Property was very well located for our overnight stay with good food at at a nearby pub. Although no breakfast provided there was a local Costa Coffee which served the purpose. Very easy access to the North Coast 500 route

We had a wonderful, comfortable, peaceful nights stay at Wimberley House. We would definitely stay there again when in Inverness. The owner is very helpful and friendly. It is in a very convenient location.

The room was spacious and bright. Comfortable King Bed, a lovely room.

The Room could have rated excellent, however, soft plastic cups were supplied instead of glasses and shampoo and body wash minimal.

House numbering in the street was tricky, 1 and 2 adjacent and all other odd numbers on the other side of the road. This caused some confusion upon arrival.

Fabulous

Very nice ! Clean, comfortable and close to town! We walked all over! It was so nice not to have to drive downtown. Our host was very nice!

The only thing was a motorcycle parked just behind us . We needed to get out and no one was around. It was about 8 in the morning . Unfortunately , we scratched our rental car on the petal of the motorcycle.

Wimberley House, was very clean and comfortable. It had everything I needed. The fridge in the room was a great extra! Easy off street parking outside. I enjoyed my stay and would use this B & B again!

Fine for our purposes . Just an overnight stay while we were moving house. Toiletries including flannels good. Bed comfortable although a bit big for that room.

The paper cups were awful. Why wasn’t a china mug provided? Noise from other guests and very strong smell of bacon cooking at 1030 which permeated through to room no. 3
