Very comfortable accommodation and excellent hosts. Highly recommended.

The hosts, Caroline and Peter were really welcoming and very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and warm. The bed was also very comfortable, especially after a long drive. The breakfast was excellent and everything, from cereal, fruit juice, condiments all followed by a hearty Scottish breakfast. When my partner asked if he could have a full English breakfast, Peter quickly retorted "there's nothing English in this house!! A great sense of humour and all in good fun. Lovely couple and excellent accommodation. Highly recommended and thank you

This was our first stop before starting the NC500. The hospitality and food was so good, many of our other stays seemed underwhelming in comparison. We were spoilt on day one - lol!! Apart from that, there was nothing we didn't like and nothing that could be improved upon.

Good

Peter was welcoming and offered a cup of tea, biscuits & a chat on our arrival. Room and bathroom size was generous. Location suited us as we weren’t spending time in the town centre but visiting Culloden Battlefield & Dunrobin Castle near Golspie.

I know the front entrance is waiting for some landscaping was done but perhaps have the garden hose rolled up & empty plastic plant pots stacked & put out of site from guests would present the property better in the mean time. Manoeuvring SUV to leave the property parking requires care.

Cozy beautiful property in Inverness

Rooms were very spacious and clean. Good and very large wardrobe for keeping our clothes. All other amenities provided were also very good. The owner of the property was very helpful and listened to all our requests

Though Inverness is small city, it was a bit far from the city centre - (25-30 mins) by walk. Even the nearest bus stand is also a bit far from the property.

We can recommend it with full confidence

The hosts Peter and Caroline were very friendly and charming. We were out and about a lot during the day, but they always exchanged a few words with us, when we were in and out. The room was very large, there were even two washbasins available, which prevented arguments. The price/performance ratio was very good. The room was very clean.

It takes about half an hour to walk to the city center, which is okay. However, we went there both days with our rental car.

Room was spacious, with lots of storage and extremely clean. So comfortable and very reasonably priced too! Peter was very welcoming and they also prepared some recommendations for restaurants, things to do which we ended up following!

Perfect ,cosy and well cared for

Very nice place,situated in a very quiet housing area next to the city center ,easy to reach by bus.Did not have the breakfast,but judging from Caroline's and Peter's hearty hospitality and professional experience I am convinced it would have been great if I had tried it.

Apart from some bouts of dramatic weather, I couldn't complain less ;-)

Comfortable but expensive.

The bedroom and shower were very large and overlooked a nice garden. It was very quiet. It was good to have car parking but the narrow entrance might be tricky for large vehicles.

The car park surface is gravel with soil edges and would benefit from tarmacing. This was the most expensive b and b on our tour round Scotland so we did not want to pay an extra 15 pounds for each breakfast.

Beaut little B&B in Inverness

Peter and Caroline are absolutely lovely hosts. We only stayed for one night but we were warmly welcomed with a cup of tea and shortbread which gave a nice homely feel after a week traveling on the road. They give really great tips for Inverness and the region and the B&B is good walking distance to the main town.

The entrance isn't entirely idiot proof, at least for us! The sign for the driveway is easily misinterpreted for No 10 Balmoral Terrace so we may have annoyed the neighbors. Might be a good idea to send pictures to future guests.

Our best booking ever

We had a full breakfast one day to sample haggis and enjoyed it. Peter was most attentive to our needs as he prepared breakfast. Caroline also made us a coffee on our arrival and made us feel most welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Runnymede House. Peter and Caroline were the perfect hosts.

A peaceful and quiet oasis

Peter and Caroline are salt of the earth type of people. We enjoyed getting to know them a little. The place was so peaceful and quiet. We were so tired and the peaceful retreat at their house was exactly what our bodies and spirit needed. The room Even had a hair dryer. Something I didn’t pack traveling overseas. The Hilton didn’t have a hair dryer and I really liked the little thoughtful touch.

Peter and Caroline are really kind and lovely hosts. Everyday have asked us how the day was and always to offer the best for their guests. Big and clean room with a bid bathroom. We recommend them!! I hope to see you soon!!

Comfortable place to call home in Inverness.

Lovely accomodations. The room was huge, comfortably furnished and well equiped. Our host was kind, friendly and a pleasure to deal with. When our taxi proved unreliable, he drove us to meet our tour group, and on our last day, drove us to the train station.

the room was comfy and the home owners were very welcoming, I even got walked to the local pub :) lovely area probably great for walkers to have a good ramble round the area.

there wasn't anything to pick fault with it was a great place to stay.... only there for a few days but felt at home instantly due to the welcoming nature of the home owners.

Inverness Hidden Gem

Large double bedroom with space to sit, lots of wardrobe space, enormous comfy bed, desk for a laptop, Sky. Super wee shower room. Welcoming, helpful hosts. Walking distance from local shops and pub and Inverness centre close by, so a great location. Close to bus routes. Excellent value. Lovely hosts. Last minute booking - hosts were getting their kitchen re-done so I knew I was booking room only, but when I return, I'm expecting their full Scottish breakfast will be of this same high standard!

Beautiful accomodation, convenient location, excellent hosts.

Peter and Caroline are excellent hosts and the room that we had with its' en suite bathroom was beautiful. No request was too much and they made us feel very welcome and comfortable.

There was a hiccup with the television reception and we were unable to access a number of channels and they are taking steps to correct this.

Wat hadden wij een heerlijk verblijf bij Peter & Caroline! Zij zijn zo vriendelijk en gastvrij, het voelde als thuiskomen. De kamers zijn gezellig en schoon, we hebben heerlijk geslapen! En ‘s morgens de dag beginnen met een heerlijk ontbijt van Peter in hun gezellige keuken. Peter & Caroline weten beiden veel te vertellen over Inverness en Schotland. Logeren bij hen was een geweldige start van onze vakantie! Wij gaan zeker nog een keer overnachten bij Runnymede House.

Simplesmente tudo perfeito!! Ótima localização, limpo, roupas de cama e banho de ótima qualidade, decoração impecável, banheiro maravilhoso. Percebemos que cada detalhe foi preparado com carinho para nos receber. Isso é uma arte! Ficaria mais dias se tivéssemos oportunidade. E os anfitriões são um espetáculo a parte!
