It was ok to use this hotel for 1night stay but we won't come back.

We liked the location of the hotel. Really close to the Autobahn so this hotel is perfect for a short stay during a long trip.

1. The rooms are pretty old although the furniture is new 2. You can hear everything what is happening in the neighbour rooms 3. No air conditioner in the room 4. No fridge in the room 5. You can hardly find someone at the reception 6. The breakfast was pretty poor

Nice typical Austrian hotel

The hotel is next to the main road in Treffen but traffic noise was no problem. My room was very spacious but the bathroom was a bit tight compare to the room size. There was an alarm going off during my check-in time but this was for the fireworker because a big thunderstorm arrived in the evening. I had some local food & beer for dinner and both was very tasty. Staff was very friendls and breakfast was also nice even if I had to leave early.

Hotel Kuchlerwirt is a nice and friendly place to stay in Treffen am Ossiacher See. The location of the hotel is excellent. A small present waited us in the room, which was very nice from the owners. The room was very comfortable, fully equipped and tidy. The view from the room was breathtaking. All the staff members were very friendly and professional. The Lady who serves the breakfast was really helpful and kind. The dinner was also above expectations and everything was delicious. There are many free parking places in Treffen. The Hotel offers the ‘Erlebnis Card’ with which you can travel free on local bus and train lines and there are some museums where the entry is free with this card. If you want to spend your holiday in a peaceful atmosphere, Hotel Kuchlerwirt is the best for you. Das Hotel Kuchlerwirt ist eine schöne und freundliche Unterkunft in Treffen am Ossiacher See. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt. Ein kleines Geschenk wartete in unserem Zimmer auf uns, was sehr nett von den Besitzern war. Das Zimmer war sehr bequem, komplett ausgestattet und sauber. Die Aussicht aus dem Zimmer war atemberaubend. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und professionell. Die Dame, die das Frühstück servierte, war sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Das Abendessen hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen, alles war lecker. Es gibt viele kostenlose Parkplätze in Treffen. Das Hotel bietet die Erlebnis-Karte an, mit der man mit regionalen Bussen und Zügen gratis reisen kann. Mit dieser Karte ist der Eintritt in manche Museen frei. Wenn du deinen Urlaub in einer ruhigen Umgebung verbringen willst, ist das Hotel Kuchlerwirt das Beste für dich.

Die Lage ist einfach perfekt für Ausflüge in alle Richtungen – ob nach Villach, auf die Gerlitzen oder zum Ossiacher See, alles ist schnell erreichbar. Wir haben jeden Tag neue wunderschöne Orte entdeckt und die Umgebung in vollen Zügen genossen. Die Unterkunft war makellos sauber, sehr gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Für uns war es ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt – wir kommen bestimmt wieder!“
