A great place to slow down and rest in Ushguli. The building is old but has a lot of character, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The dinner was absolutely delicious and definitely worth mentioning. A peaceful place to spend a night and get some good rest during a bike tour.

The location was very central. The rooms were cozy and clean. The property had a kitchen that the owner let us use in case you don't want to eat the food prepared there you can cook your own food as well. The bathroom was clean. There was no electricity in the entire village the whole day, so you need to save your batteries and all but that has nothing much to do with the property. The owner is always present in the property and is always visible and accessible. She offers breakfast and dinner set menus as well as paid car rides from Ushguli to Kutaisi direct. There is wifi if you ask the lady but it is from her own mobile phone hotspot. It worked for us more or less since we were there for only one day.

There is one common bathroom, so sometimes there's a queue. There was only one socket in each room and the one in our room wasn't working. At the end the owner told us that the price for which we booked the rooms wasn't correct and she said that booking.com has some problem. We had booked two rooms and paid her for it but she said that it was only enough for one room and that for the second room it is double the amount shown in booking. We didn't have any extra cash on us and we only booked it because it was so cheap, so she let it go, but maybe it is still better to message the property for clarity beforehand since she was quite insistent that the money we paid for two rooms was only enough for one room.
