Agra Ushguli

We were looking for peace, nature and the countryside. We found everything here. This hotel is not about luxury, but about feeling and experience. Clean, cozy. The food is very tasty. It is cool at night, as befits the mountains. The beds are comfortable, the pillows are not too high. I really liked it.

I can't say. Maybe it's the queue at the toilet and shower :)

The restaurant and the authenticity of the place

Staff is very nice. Location is very pretty. Beds are comfortable.

Dogs barking outside at night making it hard to sleep despite being in the middle of the mountains. Windows weren’t closing properly, and the walls are not very thick, which makes sense because of where it is.

Great food at seemingly the only proper restaurant on the trail. Big room. Really nice bathroom.

One of the people we were with is severely allergic to peanuts. She ordered crepes with Nutella after carefully confirming the Nutella didn’t have peanuts. After biting into the crepe, she immediately tasted peanuts. It turned out that peanut butter was in the crepe, despite not being listed on the menu! It was almost a disaster. The staff were helpful to avert the disaster, but take care if you have allergies! Our bedroom had a huge skylight, which was beautiful, but it’s a bit strange — makes the room very hot, almost impossible to take a nap, and no way to darken the room after about 5:30am when the sun starts to light up the sky.
