MariElla Guesthouse is one of those special places where you feel at home from the very first moment. The family is incredibly kind, welcoming, and warm-hearted. Our room was modern, beautifully equipped, very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The guesthouse is run with great professionalism, yet we were treated not just as guests, but almost like family. Veronika’s cooking was absolutely wonderful. She prepared fresh, delicious meals for us, which we enjoyed very much. We also really appreciated being able to communicate in English with her daughter Ella, as we do not speak Georgian or Russian. Even with Google Translate, the whole family made every effort to create warm and friendly conversations. Thank you so much for this wonderful stay. We can highly recommend MariElla Guesthouse!

I originally came here for two nights but ended up staying four. The family is special and amazing and they welcomed me in as one of their own. They were always offering me food and snacks and tea, helping me with every little thing that I needed, and talking to me about their lives here. I can honestly say I have never experienced this level of hospitality in the many places I have stayed in. Veronica cooked me huge and delicious homemade meals and even gave me food for the road. Josh drove me to Vardzia for a very fair price. Ella was always such a delight to talk to and has an infectious smile. This is an incredible homestay and I will miss this family!
