The hosts were friendly and helpful. The elderly man was interesting to spend time with.. sociable and welcoming. Shower and toilet area was clean and good. Glad to have a heater in our room. There is a small souvenir shop in front of the guest house.. bought nice Svan salt there.

Wifi in our room wasn't strong at all BUT we could use in the common area... small problem.

A traditional family guesthouse with a local feel. The rooms are basic but cozy, with two shared bathrooms. The highlights were the incredible views of mountains and Svan towers right from our window, and the delicious homemade food! The hosts organized a fantastic horseback riding tour to Shkhara glacier for us. The location is perfect – a local ethnographic museum and an artist's house are right in the neighborhood. Parking is easy, right outside the yard by the ancient towers. Highly recommended for a true Ushguli experience

I parked right in front of a medieval tower, just outside our hotel. The elderly hosts were incredibly welcoming. Although they only speaks local language, communication was easy as i coordinated everythung over the phone with their son. The host prepeared delicious, traditional meals for me-just be sureto arrange the menu and timingin advance. If you want to experience authentic Svan life, ihighly recommend staying here!

A família é receptiva e a senhorinha que nos recebeu é uma fofa.

O lugar estava provavelmente em reforma, então estava bem bagunçado. A limpeza deixa muito a desejar, a casa como um todo tem um cheiro bem marcante e ruim. Só tem um banheiro, que dividimos com outros hóspedes e também com toda a família, o que o torna bem disputado e bagunçado, com roupas e meias sujas no chão. O quarto que ficamos é claustrofóbico, pequeno e lotado de coisas pessoais da família... A cama de casal não era confortável, estava totalmente deformada para o meio, tanto que tive que dormir na outra cama de solteiro, que era dura como rocha. E o travesseiro era lamentável. A casa estava cheia de crianças, que não foram um problema, mas elas fazem bastante barulho (Esteja ciente apenas). Eu não sei porque tem fotos de comida, porque não nos foi oferecido nada disso. As fotos certamente não condizem com o lugar, acredito que é possível achar lugares melhores em Ushguli por um preço semelhante. Faço essas críticas com dor no coração, porque a família parece muito amável, mas o lugar não é bom.
