Very good location. A 3 minute stroll to the chair lift.

We rented the apartment as we required 3 bedrooms but only 2 were available when we arrived late at night. Was all sorted with minimum fuss the very next morning.

Superb

This was a last minute find. The hotel is located in the middle of the village and has great views over the valley. For us it was just an overnight stop and we felt great.

The restaurant was closed but the receptionist recommended a very nice restaurant in the next village, within walking distance. Great experience.

Great find would stay again.

Great room, great location, loads of available parking perfect for our vehicle. We knew in advance that the restaurant was closed on the night of our stay, and looked after our selves very happily with a trip to the local shops. Excellent host and super communication throughout. Breakfast was spot on. Free wi-fi worked well.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights and on the second night we ate at the hotel's restaurant. It was a mistake. We chose the dishes called Spider steak from the list. The dish included fried potatoes and vegetables, as well as a beef steak. The steak was inferior in quality, stringy and partly inedible, we thought the price was unreasonable at 45 CHF/portion. The room was as expected, and the staff was friendly, the breakfast was also good.

Lovely family, really welcoming, we were travelling by motorcycle so having a secure garage was a big plus. The restaurant was closed due to low season but the couple recommended somewhere we could eat in the local village, even lent us their umbrella just incase. Gorgeous views, on a superb piece of road and for a good price.

Nice and good hotel, beautiful location

Clean and all you would expect from this type of hotel, the staff was very friendly, diner in the evening was excellent so was breakfast.

When we arrived it was cold and wet, since you have to cross a mountain te get to the hotel from the Gotthard pass we had some light snow something we didn't expect in October. The road towards the hotel is under good weather conditions stunning!

Good sized rooms and super view from the balcony

Breakfast is at 8 am and there was no staff around until 7.45 so you are practically locked in. I made the mistake of going out through a back door but was then locked out. Apparently, you have to ask for a key for that door but there was no info apart from a small notice pinned on the door which you easily miss.

For us it was a very convenient transit stop, but this hotel is a good base for the Oberalp area.

Very friendly staff. We appreciated that they also accommodated our request for an earlier than scheduled breakfast - and even the complete breakfast was available.

The hotel had no elevators, however one of the staff carried our heavy suitcase all the way up to the 2nd floor. On the way down we had to manage it ourselves. Under "Included facilities" the lack of elevators is not mentioned, however - incorrectly - "no parking available" is mentioned, but there is plenty of free parking.

One of the best (affordable) hotel restaurants ever visited.

The room was bigger than average, with a huge bathroom and big balcony. But the absolute highlight was the hotel's restaurant! I cannot recommend the alpen pikant rösti enough, it was simply amazing. The hotel is also quiet despite begin close to the main road.
