good easy location, amenities and price was reasonable

Enjoyed the mini bar that was free for hotel guests. Price quality was good for the zurich area for a family to stay in one room together. The room was clean and well equipped.

Nice staff, responds fast. Self service for coffee, drinks, and ice cream in common area without limit.

Stairs are too narrow, need to be careful to avoid trips and falls

Breakfast was lovely and very rich. The bread was very good. The building is very nice and I loved the charme. The room was extremely nice with the spa.

The light at the entrance door during the night could be with movement detection. I think it didn't work. Air conditioning would be great.

Gastronomic bliss with rooms that deserve some TLC.

The dinner was exceptional. The way the dishes were prepared and the quality and freshness of the food where incredible. It's clear where the owner's/chef's passion lies. What looked to be a quiet day for the hotel turned into a fully booked restaurant with local guests coming from everywhere filling up the big parking lot to the last spot. All cars were gone when we left early next morning.

The rooms are big but simple and dated. Don't get me wrong, all facilities were available (except for AC) but for getting a cup of coffee after waking up in the morning you need to go outside your room to find a nespresso machine installed in a closet for general use. Looking at the room rates compared to other hotels we have visited in Switzerland, then this hotel could improve their room facilities. Especially when you have such an excellent chef in the kitchen.

Enjoyable one night stay in Sihlbrugg after a wedding at Duke's.

Hotel met expectations. Room very clean, friendly staff, comfortable, everything in the room worked. Hot water, wifi, good bed. The breakfast the next morning was excellent. Nice to have a drinks fridge for free to help ourselves even with beer inside! Thank you.

There is a tierheim (dog shelter) just out back so the barking dogs early in the morning was unpleasant.

lovely traditional hotel , lovely modern bed rooms

what a lovely traditional Swiss hotel , with modern def rooms , my room was minimalistic, beautifully presented & very comfortable with a brilliant shower , complimentary drinks & nibbles , a lovely touch & a super food service in the wonderful , traditionally decorated dinning room , the staff were brilliant !

Unexpected gem in Sihlbrugg!

Amazing dinner paired exceptionally well with wines and the breakfast as well was very good! The service is absolutely great! We will go back again soon!

Bed was confortable, room was clean and breakfast delicious.

There was a terrible sewage-like smell all over the premises. Our room was ice cold. It took a while for the little portable heater they provide to warm it up. At check-out they charged us more than what offered on Booking!

très agréable

l'accueil de la jeune fille qui parlait un peu français. La mise à disposition d'un frigo avec des boissons fraiches (surtout qu'il faisait très chaud), une machines à expresso pour le matin. L'hôtel est en fin de zone industrielle et à la campagne donc appréciable

il n'y avait personne le matin pour remettre en service la machine à café après 3 cafés

Außergewöhnlich netter, persönlicher Service – immer bemüht, mir den Aufenthalt angenehm zu machen. Als ich nach einem langen Arbeitstag erst gegen halb zehn Uhr abends nach Küchenschluss im Hotel eintraf, bekam ich im Handumdrehen eine ausgezeichnete Auswahl an Rohmilchkäse mit frischem Brot als Abendessen serviert. Auch das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen.

Kleiner Wermutstropfen: Neben der Whirlpool-Badewanne im Zimmer stand bei meiner Ankunft eine leere Badezusatz-Dose, die auch nicht durch aufgefüllt oder ersetzt wurde.

Een prachtig Zwitsers beetje ouderwets hotel met heel veel sfeer en authenticiteit. Het eten was heel erg goed, de bediening was voortreffelijk. Bijzondere plek.

Es geht kaum angenehmer

Abseits von Zürich, wunderbar gelegen. Ein liebevoll geführtes Hotel, mit unterschiedlich gestalteten Zimmern. Man sieht und spürt die Geschichte des Hauses und dennoch ist alles in den Zimmern modern und man vermisst nichts. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das super Frühstück und wie unkompliziert die Wirtsleute sind und individuell auf Wünsche oder Bedürfnisse eingehen. Wenn das Restaurant Ruhetag hat, was überall deutlich vermerkt ist, gibt es in der Umgebung, fußläufig gute Alternativen. Außerdem lädt die Umgebung zu kleinen Spaziergängen oder Wanderungen ein. Ich komme gerne wieder. Vielen Dank
