Good Hotel

Great hotel, about 7 minutes walk from the train station. Good and comfortable room. Shower was also amazing. Staff were super friendly.

Only one pillow in a queen bed. Breakfast was good but I was not informed I could order eggs. Juices were also not fresh.

Good little hotel in Zug, close to downtown with really nice staff.

We needed a hotel in Zug which was not too expensive but still nice and clean. This hotel was in general really nice, good service and the staff very helpful. Room was fine, it was a family room for four. I can recommend this hotel, it is good value and with really nice location in Zug.

We knew we were going into a smaller hotel so expectations were built on that. For us we liked the hotel and walked away happy.

An excellent week in Zug

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is 20 minutes walk into the old town, but it's a pleasant walk, and only 10 minutes walk to the train station. Breakfasts were good and the hotel restaurant was excellent, and open on Sunday & Monday evenings when many restaurants in Zug were closed. There is a Swiss bowling alley in the hotel basement which was fun. Zug is an excellent base for visiting many interesting cities and mountain areas.

The underground hotel car park isa bit tight if you have a large car, but it's manageable.

The hotel is in a good location and the room and hotel were very clean. The staff are friendly.

- Only powder coffee, a tea bag and a kettle in the room. Nespresso coffee was on offer for an extra cost per cup. - Street parking (not covered) in front of the hotel was also charged at extra cost of 16.- per night. The hotel itself was clean and had the minimum for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly. But considering that the price paid for the room was on the higher side, the hotel might have considered offering the small extras without charging an extra fee. Even building these costs into the price and ‚hiding‘ them, leaves a better impression than charging for a Nespresso capsule ☺️

Great stay in hotel with great staff.

Location - close to where I wanted to visit.

The noise from people outside, as I had a ground floor room near the resturant and car park. I had the window open due to the heat of the day, so not unexpected, but still not liked.

Its a great location, safe and very quiet. Had Airconditioning, so our stay was comfortable.

Reception was extremely helpful in providing much information of where to eat and visit.

Like most continental breakfasts the provided foods were excellent. The honour system for drinks, wines and nibbles worked well for us.

Probably a little further away from Zug HB than we would have liked especially as we were lugging our own cases. Had we had more information we might have caught a taxi.

Very nice cosy hotel, rooms spacious and clean. Reception was very welcoming. Also, they have a restaurant which is highly recommend, fine food and fine service, we had a great stay.

One of the best 3-star hotels I have ever stayed in

Comfy and quiet rooms, pleasant ambience, ample breakfast options, and right by the bus line to the lake (runs every 15 min and takes just a few minutes to get there). Extra touches like a freezer stocked with ice cream you can buy, guest umbrellas, and towels you can grab on your way to the lake made for a great stay!

Location was ideal, close to my friends house and the station. It was a cost effective option and suited my needs well. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. I enjoyed it!

Zug hotel experience

Hotel room was very comfortable. A very good size with very good facilities. Staff were helpful and friendly. Location was excellent for easy access to Zug town centre and lake.

The only issue we had was they didn't clean our room when we asked them to. Otherwise, there was nothing we didn't like about it.

This time, the breakfast was in the restaurant and, admittedly, I was down slightly later - but it wasn't great. This is the first time that I have found this - usually it is perfect.
