Great location and stay, recommended

Great hotel close to Zug and much more affordable than other hotels in the area (especially compared to Zug). Very friendly staff, great service, highly recommended.

I would definitely think twice before going there again

Easy parking, comfortable bed

Breakfast was poor but most important there were a lot of flies sitting on the food which you were supposed to eat. I complained about it to the lady in charge. She said she can't do anything about it. Unacceptable.

Good size rooms, pleasant staff, but a noisy location and a very simple breakfast

The breakfast is very simple considering the charge. The rooms are spacious, although a bit dated. Wifi works great. I had a room on the side of the street, where the hotel also has a small terrace for dining/drinks. Unfortunately, this makes a lot of noise and the rooms are not very soundproof.

We had a very nice weekend in Hotel Ochsen, located in a very nice area for walking and cycling, near Zug and Zurich. Owners and staff are very nice and helpful, good breakfast, room, bathroom. Dinner served is delicious…..

The breakfast was very good. Not overloaded and suitable for everyone. The room was excellent. The atmosphere was familiar, something I appreciate. The bathroom was very good. WLAN was no problem.

Excellent hotel. Staff friendly- nice bar and restaurant. Only issue is it is up in the hills and hard to get to late eve. Very picturesque location. Zug is 10 mins on bus. Bus outside hotel. Uber £25 from Zug

اقامة استمتعت بها وعائلة لطيفه تدير الفندق

القريه لطيفه و جميله وهادئة ولا يوجد بها اي حركه بسبب اغلب سكانها من كبار السن و لكنها منطقة جميلة كمناظر طبيعية ومنطقة غير جبلية وحولها بحيرات و قرى جميلة وقريبه من زيورخ ٤٠ دقيقه و من منطقة وبحيرة زوق ٢٥ دقيقه ومنطقة ريغي ٣٥ دقيقه و ومنطقة لوسيرن ٤٠ الاسرة مريحة ولكن قديمه الغرفه عادية الحمام نظيف جدا وفيه جميع الخدمات لا يوجد تكييف بالغرف الفندق تديره عائله تتكلم الالمانيه و الانجليزيه بصراحه عائله في غايه اللطافه والرقي ساعدونا كثيرا محبوبين لطيفين و متعاونين خاصه اندريا المكان لطيف لمن يريد الاقامة الهادئه اذا كان هناك سبب لرجوعي للمنطقة نفسها فهو بسبب العائلة التي تدير الفندق و المنطقة كونها هادئة وجميلة

عدم وجود تكييف واتفهم هذا الموضوع بسبب ان موسم الصيف لديهم لا يتعدى اسبوعين او ثلاثه ومن سوء الحظ اني كنت هناك في وقت الصيف بشكل عام لا يوجد اي شي لم يعجبني

Moderne Dorfidylle mit super Service und schönem Hotel

Das Hotel ist liebevoll eingerichtet, modern, geschmacksvoll. Schönes Retaurant und Frühstücksraum. Unkomlizierter Check-in und Check-out. Super Frühstück, unglaublich persönliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung - da spürt man den Familienbetrieb. Das Hotel ist im Dorfzentrum an der Dorf-Strasse. Wir waren von Samstag auf Sonntag dort - die Strasse hat nicht gestört beim Schlafen. Super Lage in einem schönen Dorf und in einer wundervollen Wandergegend.

Unser Wander-Kurz-Urlaub war eine tolle Überraschung und das Hotel hat dazu beigetragen - sehr empfehlenswert.

Restaurant und Speisen waren hervorragend inkl. außergewöhnlich guter Weinbegleitung (Sommelier-Niveau). Service war perfekt und sehr gastfreundlich. Chefin und die Frühstück-Feen waren sehr aufgeschlossen, aufmerksam und interessiert, denn eigentlich sind wenige Wander-/Touristen ansonsten vor Ort. Allgemein gute und zentrale Lage um von dort aus den Kanton Zug bis nach Luzern zu erkunden und zum Wandern, denn mitten im Drumlinland (Moränenhügel!)

Tolle Hotel abseits von Zug

Schönes Hotel und Zimmer an zentraler Lage in Menzingen. Sehr freundliches Personal. Einzelzimmer war ein Doppelzimmer, somit gross und viel Ablagefläche.

Das Frühstück war qualitativ sehr gut, könnte jedoch etwas umfangreicher (Eierspeisen, Brote) sein.
