A very high-class hotel, clean rooms . very satisfying buffet breakfast, there is a pool that we didn't have time to use. They welcomed us late at night without any problem. I believe I will return to this hotel.
We liked everything, but the hotel's location is high on a steep mountain, so if you have knee problems for adults it's a bit difficult unless you have a car nearby. We walked up without a problem.
A little expensive for my taste.

I did like the view
I am very disappointed with this hotel. We arrived quite late and had a hard time finding the reception. The phone number listed on Booking.com was not working, and we had to search on Google to find a valid one.
The hotel has two wings, a new one and an old one. Unfortunately, we were placed in the old part, which is extremely outdated. The soundproofing is terrible – you can hear everything from the hallway inside the room. We did not receive even a bottle of water, no slippers, the pillows were very uncomfortable, and the mattress was terrible, making it impossible to get proper rest. The room also had dampness and mold.
The restaurant was also very old and did not match the description. The only positive aspect was the view, which indeed was beautiful, but everything else was far from what you expect from a 4-star hotel. Definitely not worth the rating.

The main hotel was really nice and modern, however the outbuilding are quite dated and look much nicer in the photos online!
Good location/rooms cleaned everyday
The bar staff were very nice one day but then would he very rude another day for no reason, this happened often whilst staying at the hotel.
We had a late flight so after check out we decided to stay by the pool, we wanted to buy drinks/ food at the bar however they do not take card payment and as it was our last day we ran out of cash, so we had to take the receipts up to the reception to pay by card which was annoying having to do this multiple times. We also could not open a tab so we could pay all in one. The bar staff were also rude about this (that we had no cash) them and even the director of the hotel were constantly calling reception/ watching us to make sure we paid which was irritating as made us feel like we were doing something wrong when we simply just wanted to buy a drink/food. Because of this we left the hotel completely and went to the beach instead.
There was also an extremely limited selection for breakfast.

No coffee machine, no ices, no wine glasses in room. It should be in each room at a 4 star hotel.

The rooms were clean and well-kept.
The staff were generally very nice and professional, especially Luna at the front desk, who was kind, welcoming, and helpful—the only light in an otherwise dark tunnel.
The outdoor pool looked nice, although it wasn’t enough to make up for the rest of the experience.
Misleading booking experience: the spa and most pools were closed, but this was only disclosed in the fine print after booking.
The buffet had limited variety and poor quality food, and the drinks included were terrible—off-brand sodas labeled as Coca-Cola and Fanta, and sugary juice from a machine.
The "Italian restaurant" was just a dated café offering only ham and cheese toast.
The hotel felt overstaffed, and guests were constantly watched, even during small actions like refilling water bottles.
The property is not suitable for children—the playground was dirty and unsafe, with exposed springs and broken equipment.
The reception and restaurant areas were extremely outdated, not at all what you'd expect from a 4-star hotel.
The hotel was completely inflexible when we tried to cancel due to the hidden amenity closures.
We ultimately left the hotel early because of the above issues, as the stay became uncomfortable and disappointing.

Good pool area.
I thought it was a bit strange to not be able to have own beverages in the pool area.
Dinner at the restaurant was really expensive.
Everyone thought we were German which we aren't.

Breakfast was OK. Location quite good.
Not really a good experience. They wanted to cheat us and give us a bungalow next to a parking place instead of room we requested and paid for (hotel room). After strugling with the receptionist they decided to give us proper room. They had room for us but tried to make us parking place gurads:-D And that is not nice.

The hotel staff are super friendly! We were staying at the hotel for 8 days with our 10 month old baby and every single time when we would walk across someone from the staff they would all wave at our daughter (who obviously absolutely loved the attention ;)). So I would recommend this hotel for all families with children. The food was also good. In our stay it was included that we could eat at the Italian Restaurant twice. The food there was delicious! (I already miss the vitello tonato!) The food at the ''general'' restaurant was also fine but it was more basic and sometimes not really hot anymore. But we didn't really mind this as it wasn't cold either. The room was great and very big, the shower was also fantastic because we never ran out of hot water (and the water was really really hot, not like in some other hotels where sometimes you have to take a cold shower due to too many guests showering at the same time). We booked a room that had a view for a bit more money, but we didn't regret this at all because the view truly was magnificent and it's awesome waking up like that and seeing the sun rise over Lake Garda!
We ran out of Wifi before the end of our stay, but the friendly lady at the reception just handed us another wifi code :)
The only thing which we found to be a problem at the hotel was the parking. It is rather steep, since the hotel is located on a hill, but furthermore the parking spaces are rather small and a lot of them have a tree in front of them, which made it even more difficult to park. So that did take a lot of tries before you are parked correctly.
Unfortunately, we found the water in the indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi too cold, especially for our young daughter, to swim in.

Location and pool.
Regarding the rooms we can recommend the superior rooms, however not the standard rooms. Although the rooms very a little old fashion and worn down.
First of all; when we checked in to our Standard double room the AC didn't work. When notifying the staff about the issue we were questioned, there were no understanding (initially) by the staff and they wanted us to pay extra if we wanted to change room since there were't any more standard rooms. After some discussions we got to speak to the manager instead who checked the room and confirmed the issue. She finally got us another room without paying extra, which honestly was fair since we had one night without AC when the outside air temperature were about 30 degrees (during night).
Overall the staff weren't that service minded, not friendly nor flexible about our needs.
We noticed that it doesn't seem that the hotel management takes care of the staff because the staff didn't really seemed be happy to work there, sad really.
(And please Hotel Royal Village, don't respond to us like other review that your staff has training in service management etc. Please try to acknowledge our complaint instead of just give us excuses).
Regarding the restaurants (which is a matter of personal choice) wasn't our cup of tea with large buffets. But again, for someone who enjoys buffets this should not be an issue.
We believe that four stars are a little misleading, we would rather classify it as a three star hotel.
We decided to extend our stay in Limone sul garda and chose another hotel, Hotel Saturno. This hotel was a much better fit for us, even though the hotel had three stars and were cheaper than Hotel Royal Village.

Both breakfast and dinner had very good choice variety and food quality. Two outdoor swimming pools (+paddle pool for kids) and one indoor were just perfect. Great views from all parts of the hotel.
The flooring in our room was not ideal, some strange liquid, possibly glue (similar to sun cream) was coming out of it all the time. The room service personnel always cleaned it when in, but it was weird..
The room&WC fit out is not far away from its livetime
