I’m loathed to give bad reviews about a hotel because I understand how difficult the hospitality industry is. But this place - even for a 2 star - was not great. It stank of stale cigarettes (even the towels) and every measure had been made to be as cheap as possible. From 80s style body wash sachets for the shower, to no WiFi (I should have checked) to the most minimalist uncooked breakfast. An added treat was waking up every morning to cigarette smoke coming through my window. I also asked about the Innsbruck Welcome Card (free local travel and discounts on certain touristy things) as offered by pretty much every hotel in Innsbruck - including this hotel on the Innsbruck.info website! But no… they said they didn’t. I don’t expect much from 2 star hotels but every other I’ve stayed has at least made an effort around the soft touches. This is the first poor review I’ve ever left.

Very enjoyable stay, clean, comfortable, quiet location close to transport links.

Great location, quiet and peaceful, wonderful balcony overlooking the garden. Very comfortable bed and everything very clean. The breakfast buffet was superb with an excel selection of cereals, fruits, cheese, ham and breads. Also the most delicious soft boiled eggs that were the highlight. Good selection of hot drinks all available on a self services basis.

The weekend breakfast did not start until 8am. Our preference would be earlier, from 7 or 7.30 am. We used the local bakers for an early morning coffee, they open at 6am every day.

Recommendation for Hygiene and location

The hotel is in an excellent location, it is extremely clean but old-fashioned equipped. It is definitely recommended for sleeping, I have not been to the breakfast and I cannot comment. The parking is perfect. It is a quiet area, close to the set list of restaurants, etc. ......

Don’t bother.

When we arrived at 5:00 p.m. we found a notice on the closed and locked door announcing the staff would return at 8:00 the next morning. This, despite the fact we had a reservation that night. The notice listed an emergency contact number. The place was pitch dark. I rang the door bell and heard a jangling inside. No response. I leaned on the bell and eventually a light went on and the door opened. The place reeked of stale cigarette smoke which pervaded our clothes during our mercifully brief stay in the little room. Never availed ourselves off the tiny shower.

Above all the stench of old cigarette smoke. But the whole vibe was off.

All good, comfortable and enjoyable.

Very friendly and helpful staff which tried to make a change to the invoice but couldn't, because of the system. Very nice rooms, clean and fair size. Beds were comfortable, breakfast was also nice and tasty. Private parking space.

Breakfast was quite simple, still nothing to complain about it. Location is a bit outside, but still easy to access, although located in a one way street so to get out you have to drive around the whole block.

Quiet and convenient location with one let down

The property is in a great quiet location with excellent transport links into the city centre.

The property allows smoking in some of the rooms, this means walking around the property there is an unpleasant smell. The smell does not affect the room too much, but if you have a strong sense of smell I would be careful booking.

Cozy and comfortable

We really enjoyed the breakfast and the room presentation. Everything was really clean plus this was our very first hotel where we found pads in the bathroom, very nice!

The only con is that the hotel is not close to the city centre, but if you have a car that's not a problem. The hotel has a nice private parking and in 10 minutes you're there!

The pension is quite central and easily located. It is quite visible from the road and has good parking options. The rooms are smallish but very practical and with really comfortable beds. Standard continental breakfast options available with a nice view of the garden.

smoke is everywhere. be ready.

The location is not far away from the city centre. you can easily take a direct bus/tram. stop is super close to the hotel. the room was clean. breakfast is ok. bread, cheese, boiled eggs, some meat and jams.

I think, hell smells like this. cigarettes smell is everywhere. not only on the first floor. the whole building is in this smoke. awful 😩 hate smoke.

It was horrible!

It smells smoke starting from the entrance. Breakfast almost doesn’t exist, very poor! Hotel owner is not friendly at all. My boyfriend stayed with me one night and hotel owner charged me 30 Euro more than 2 people room price on your website.

It is next to the tram station 5 that leads you into the centre. Value for money is very good. The room was quite big. If you need to be in the surroundings, it is good.

It is quite old-fashioned, also the bathroom, but very correct. It is not so easy to find. I needed to be there but would under normal circumstances prefer the proper centre.

Delicious breakfast, warm property, conveniently located near public transportation.

The beds were comfortable and the rooms were warm. Parking was conveniently located directly in front of the property. The tram stop was only a few minutes walk away and about 15 minutes ride into the city. The breakfast was quite nice and complete.

Der Chef war sehr bemüht und die Zimmer für eine Nacht völlig in Ordnung; zudem wurde uns freundlicherweise das Frühstück eine halbe Stunde früher ermöglicht, da wir zeitig abreisen mussten.

Leider war bereits beim Betreten des Hauses ein deutlicher Geruch von kaltem Rauch im gesamten Stiegenhaus wahrnehmbar, was sehr unangenehm war und auch in den Zimmern war der Geruch in abgeschwächter Form. Das Frühstücksbuffet fiel eher schlicht aus (dunkles Gebäck wäre eine schöne Ergänzung gewesen). Zudem empfanden wir es als nicht gerechtfertigt, dass für ein Einzelzimmer derselbe Preis wie für ein Doppelzimmer verrechnet wurde; hier wäre ein kleiner Preisnachlass wünschenswert gewesen.
