Very much enjoyed the location, free parking and the running.

The location above Innsbruck. Great if looking for a place close to Innsbruck but in quiet rural setting. If you enjoy trekking there are plenty of nature trails. If you enjoy running in with a challenge, this is the place. Steep hill climbs with great views overlooking Innsbruck.

NO VALUE FOR MONEY

Beautiful view.

The breakfast was extremely average, same every day. Public transport 1.8 kms downhill, meaning we needed to Uber daily into city center, Ubers' didn't always want to do the trip as there was no return fare. No restaurant facilities close by. No coffee making facilities in room (had to ask for a kettle and cups, we provided our own tea /coffee). Not able to get anything to drink downstairs after breakfast. No lounge downstairs where we could spend time, although they did eventually open the room next to the dining room for us. Definitely not the worth the money we were charged.

Can be difficult to find at first if at night. Is 10 minute drive down/ up hill to Innsbruck center. But that’s why it’s so peaceful.

Fantastic Place to Stay!

If you want city night life, this is probably not the place (although it's only a 15-20 minute drive). But if you want a beautiful stay in the quiet mountains, this is absolutely the place. We stayed in several different hotels in Germany and Austria, this was our absolute favorite! Staff is friendly and welcoming, breakfast is very good, rooms are clean, incredible views and many hiking/biking trails outside your door. Can't say enough great things about Gasthof Rechenhof!

It can be difficult to find depending on which mapping app you are using. We were routed on a dirt road that was a dead end. Another time on a path that looks more like a bike path than a road. If possible, try to arrive the first time during daylight hours!! But, it is well worth the effort to find it!

Beautiful property, disappointing experience

The scenery was beautiful, and the property was quaint

Very, very few people on staff to explain amenities such as the sauna (which was broken for our stay and happened to be a main factor in why we booked this hotel in the first place). Additionally, it felt like a ghost town: the dining room space looked closed at all times, which was disappointing because we would have loved to eat at the hotel. The breakfast was lack luster too, we didn’t end up eating it the second morning we were there and went to town for food instead

Amazing place to stay and initiate your tracking in the mountains. The steamed eggs prepared in the breakfast were very delicious. Uber to train station was easy on Saturday morning.

Poor Wifi, Remote with Nice Views, Very Quiet, Mtn Bike and Hiking Trails

The location and views were amazing, up on a grassy plateau above Innsbruck, far enough away that it was dead-quiet and the air was incredibly fresh. Mountain, gravel bike, and hiking trails are right out the front door. The rooms were simple and nice. In person, the staff were very friendly. The breakfast buffet was middle-of-the-road by European guesthouse standards - packaged jams, simple/cheap sliced meats, decent variety of fruits but most were a bit tired, freshly boiled egg, relatively fresh breads, butter, a couple of juices, coffee, tea.

The wifi was terrible to non-existent - it comes and goes and is very weak when it is comes; we had to go to town and pay for parking and find places with sufficient wifi to do our work, which kept us in town a lot more than we desired. It usually worked to get out some texts and simple emails, but not always; there was 0-2 bars of cell service as a back-up. When I brought this up to the managers/owners, they said nothing more than, "We are sorry for the inconvenience." In other places I have stayed where the wifi was having troubles, the owners immediately got on it and fixed the issue, or at least explained the problem and made up for it with discounts. It feels much better when you can tell the owners care about the service they provide and the impact they have on their paying customers. Just be honest, don't advertise that you have wifi if it's not good wifi.

Historical hotel with exceptional location.

The location was on top of the hill overlooking the city of Innsbruck. It was great to know that the hotel has over a 1000 year history. We had a room which had a balcony overlooking the mountains and the city. There was ample and free parking.

The room was comfortable, quiet, clean with a wonderful view and balcony. The hosts were nice. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed, but the breakfast was delicious. There is a small playground for kids too. It's a bit further from the city, but close to the nature.

Some mosquitos were unexpected room mates, but it happens if you sleep with open windows. :)

This is beautifully located outside of town. Views were gorgeous, the room was very clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. They provided a lovely breakfast of rolls, meat and cheese, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee, and juice.

The only way to the property is by car or on foot. It is a 20-minute walk from the nearest public transportation.

This accommodation is truly exceptional. It is located in a very beautiful and quiet place on a hill above the town. By car 10-20 minutes away. The mountain view rooms offer beautiful views and clean air that will do you good on your days off.

Just be aware that the half-apartman have a closed door to the room next room. So you can hear the neighbors.

En general bien, pero se podría mejorar alguna cosa.

La señora que se encargaba del desayuno, aunque no hablábamos alemán, fue muy simpática. Además, los dulces que ponían, yo diría que eran caseros, hechos por ella. La limpieza en general. Aunque está ubicado fuera de la ciudad se llega bien con el coche y no está lejos.

Llamamos por la mañana para preguntar si había problema por llegar a las 23h, porque íbamos desde Suiza y yo trabajaba hasta las 16h y dijeron que no. Cuando llegamos, estuvimos más de 10min. en la calle llamando y al final, el señor salió enfadado diciendo que no se podía hacer el check-in a esa hora. Además, nos dieron una habitación mas pequeña que la que habíamos cogido 😔. Dentro de la habitación hacía muchísimo calor, con pijama de verano, dormíamos tirados encima de la cama sin taparnos, estando fuera a -5 grados.

Lokalizacja rewelacyjna. Bajkowe widoki na Innsbruck i Alpy. Czysto. Spokojnie. Śniadania dość skromne ale pyszne-standard pensjonatowy a nie hotelarski, mały wybór ale produkty jakościowe. Aż dziw, że taki pensjonat był prawie pusty. Zdecydowanie polecamy!!!

Es gab eine Kaffeemaschine auf dem Zimmer aber keine Kaffeepads. Wenn man die benutzen wollte musste man pro Tasse 1€ zusätzlich zahlen! Der Wirt war sehr unfreundlich
