Did the job, good value for money I would stay again.

Very good location close to city centre and next to Mount Pleasant Car Park which is good for overnight parking. the room was clean, warm and quiet.

Nothing really if i was being picky I would say the reception and downstairs area of the hotel were quite cold.

Clean, no fuss hotel in good location

Clean and quiet hotel. Nice bars and restaurants close by and only a 10 minute walk to busier parts of the city centre. Good choice if you want a simple hotel with no fuss. Would happily stay again.

This property in its day would have been a grand residential town house and it retains many of those character features, however my preference would be a modern built hotel.

Great stay at a clean and well situated hotel

Good central location. Easy to get to. Good parking facilities nearby that are affordable - can park overnight for £6! The room was great. Ample space and two good size beds. Everything we needed for our stay.

Only thing I’d point out is that the room was located right at the top of the building, but not really a significant issue.

Lovely place to stay in Liverpool.

Very convenient to be close to the duty centre and the Georgian area. Quite hotel with charm.

Tiles on the bathroom floor are polished so you need to careful after showering.

great, central, practical , quiet location in comparison to others in the city centre!

very clean, newly renovated . lovely welcome on our arrival. given a small bottle of fresh milk to have with or cuppa- very acceptable- thanks They very kindly allowed us to leave our luggage with them on our departure day(and we collected it later)- thanks

there was a fire door into the ensuite- it was very heavy and very firm-obviously I am unaware of the fire regs but i would be concerned that someone may have an accident with the door.

Provided everything we needed but accommodation bit run down.

The staff were very helpful about giving me access to my room early as I was attending a wedding and wanted to change beforehand.

Overall the accommodation was a little small and run down for the cost of around 110 pounds a night. It was also up a lot of narrow stairs ... must have been 2nd floor. I would think more about £80 as we booked it relatively early. There was an ironing board and iron attached to the wall which was a little strange and a little in the way in a small room ..though obviously useful given I needed to press my dress. At one point I thought we might cancel and join the brides family at the hotel they booked but we weren't able to ring and talk to anyone. Apparently there had been a phone malfunction.

Decent hotel.

Centrally located on Mount Pleasant, approx 10 mins walk from Lime St station. Check in was smooth. Ground floor room was clean and comfortable. Decent tea bags! Plenty of places near by for food and drink. We had a good stay.

City centre seagulls wake up early! Not the hotel's fault but bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Otherwise all ok.

Our stay was very pleasent and served a purpose

The room was clean and beds were very comfortable.

Could do with a fridge on the room as we were given fresh milk and had no way of keeping it cold. So couldn’t have a coffee on our second day. The place needed some soundproofing as there was someone staying that didn’t come back till 3am both days and we could hear them on the phone as if they were in our room!

Perfectly acceptable

Location very near to town center and train station. Bed , TV, service, coffee facilities, light switches by bed were all fantastic. Hot water from tap was not even warm, shower was just warmish. Room was very small. Ideal for a one night really, probably wouldn't recommend more than 2 days stay unless you are out all day.

Overall it's nice

Room is very clean and the staffs are nice and warm. It's nice for a solo traveller to stay for 1 or 2 nights.

The wall is very thin you can hear the person next door is watching TV and people walking upstairs...

A very good one night stay and great location to the city centre

The room was a great size. The location of the hotel was literally close to everything in the city centre. The staff was very friendly. The transaction of check-in and check-out was smooth. The price was reasonable - especially as it was the weekend of Eurovision so was content that we did not have to pay a ridiculous amount for one night stay.

Cleanliness could be slightly better. We requested for a double bed but we received twin beds - but this is very minor.

Comfortable stay in very clean, friendly hotel near local facilities

Characterful old hotel within easy walking distance of Lime Street Station, city centre, docks and different cultural locations. Single bedroom with shower quite small, but well equipped. Staff very helpful and friendly. Quite quiet, despite being on one of main roads into city, as on a hill.

Large threshold step from bedroom into shower, but probably converted from old cupboard? Not suitable for someone with mobility problems.
