Location and lounge
The guest lifts were not operating, so everyone had to use the one staff lift.

We didnt have the breakfast as the location was absolutely ideal with many places to eat and a nice shopping centre just opposite the road. Very nice hotel though and lovely swimming pool.

Great location, fairly quiet, spa was nice, most staff were friendly and very helpful.
Great to have bath and shower in the room too. Spa staff: the young woman working in the pool and gym area when we were there is a credit to the establishment. Very warm, welcoming and kind. It was clean. Nice hotel.
Food portions were way too small for the price. Breakfast staff were a bit abrupt- not all of them though, some were great. Probably tired!
Everything else was great at this hotel except 2 things: the parking isn’t free. The beds - if you like really firm beds then you will be ok. So uncomfortable and painful for me- the receptionist who helped me on the second day was brilliant. He arranged extra padding with duvets on the mattress which helped a bit. Everything else about this place is good- especially most staff and the gym pool and spa area and outstanding staff in that area.
However -sadly I would go to Leonardos or Hilton if staying in hotel next time I am in that area. They have really comfy beds 😊
