Lovely location very close to M42 and major roads. Very quiet and pretty location. We had a tastefully decorated room on the top floor over looking gardens. Pleasant walks for a wee stroll before breakfast. Excellent and attentive staff and we had a good meal in the evening. Plenty of choice at breakfast. All the staff were well dressed in smart casual uniforms. We will definitely recommend and return for a stopover on another trip south.
Very minor complaints were that perhaps the live singer was a bit intrusive over the evening, I think she was a bit too loud while we were dining. We were a bit too hot overnight, I think a lighter weight duvet was overdue.

The remote location was lovely. The scenery and setting was perfect.
There was a subtle touch of luxury to the room.
Was a little disappointed at the last of toiletries in the bathroom.
Also not sure if it was the hotel bar or our neighbouring room but it was quite noisy even after 10pm, we had to be up and away for 7am so not ideal.
