Convenient, high quality and good vfm.

Immaculate, spacious rooms. Comfy bed, massive TV and modern, functional bathroom. Whole veie was really clean and professionally presented. Hayley on reception was lovely and explained / reassured noise from 2x functions wouldn’t be heard in our room. Sadly don’t arrive in time to use all the facilities.

Wasn’t particularly clear on booking that breakfast wasn’t included. However, daughter ate free. No major gripe.

The staff at breakfast were hopeless,nothing was right from start of breakfast till we left ,the manager was hopeless no customer service at all ,food wasn’t ready in time ,staff complaining to the customers,on a whole needs looked at from start to finish very disappointed at the end of it all ,lady in reception was nice to us and listened to our complaints,but wouldn’t consider staying here again!

I would highly recommended this hotel for business stays.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, going out of their way to ensure that the needs of myself and a work colleague were met with regards to use of rooms for business purposes. The room was clean and spacious with no overt noise coming in. The hotel is itself relatively secluded from heavy traffic which helps. The pool and sauna facilities are all clean and work very well. There is ample parking available. The all-day dining options were all well cooked and with good portion sizes.

The breakfast buffet is satisfactory and probably the only source of improvement that I could recommend.

The perfect place to celebrate friendship and love — so many wonderful memories made.

My stayed at the Holiday Inn in Gosforth with my friend to celebrate her upcoming wedding, and we honestly had the best time! From the moment we arrived, the staff were so welcoming and friendly — they really made us feel special. Our room was spotless, comfy, and had such a relaxing atmosphere. Everything just felt easy and stress-free, which was exactly what we needed. The hotel itself was lovely and had a really nice vibe — perfect for a little getaway. It was such a great experience overall, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere clean, comfortable, and full of friendly faces. We’ll definitely be back! 💕

Honestly, there was nothing to fault! Everything about our stay was just lovely — from the friendly staff to the spotless room and the relaxing atmosphere. We felt so comfortable and looked after the whole time. It really was the perfect place for a little celebration, and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. 💕

the breakfast is excellent, lots of selection. the room is huge and liked new. very comfortable to stay. it clean and nice.

we booked for the swimming pool. we even email the property of the schedule of the pool and theres no problem with that. but once we went there its under maintenance. we suppossed to celebrate my daughter’s birthday there but we just stayed in our room just using the free wifi. even the Television no internet no netflix. just local boring channels.

Such great value for a great family stay.

On arrival the staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was as described, spotless and spacious. Bar and restaurant facilities again, spacious, welcoming, nice interiors. Food area for breakfast was great, loads of fresh and warm food to choose from, again staff lovely. Easy access to both gym and pool facilities which were well maintained.

A little drive to Newcastle city centre but we knew this and had no issues. I was really impressed.

Room size and parking good. Restaurant food, other than breakfast, of only second quality eg. Daily special of lasagna was almost inedible with dried out pasta like leather and a mile away from al dente. Also lacked any reasonable amount of beef in the ragu sauce. Very helpful amiable cleaning staff. Efficient reception staff.

No provision by the hotel for aged guests with limitations in mobility needing grab rails or raised toilet seat in the en suite. Poor restaurant menu, limited in range and very fast food (US) based.

I have to admit that I didn’t know what to expect with the Holiday Inn. I was positively surprised. The hotel has a large and bright entrance, very welcoming reception with a very friendly and helpful staff. Great size, clean room with a nice bathroom. I would definitely stay there again. Hotel area, restaurant and facilities are very clean. Reasonable size gym, pool with jacuzzi, sauna and steam room are handy if you’re into fitness or just need a little chill time while you staying there.

Hotel looked like it’s just been refurbished and had a fresh relaxing feeling . Room we stayed in had 2 king sized beds which were comfortable, 2 bathrobes and slippers we used for the swimming pool/ spa area . We enjoyed the bar area which had different seating areas with TVs so we could watch sport with a drink (bar staff were really accommodating when asked if we could watch a specific football game on sky sports) we sat in a cozy corner which had 2 sofas . Breakfast was hot and cold buffet with quality food and coffee from the machines was really good . We stayed here because it was close to Beamish and Alnwick castle both approx 30 mins drive away .

Everything was good apart from the restaurant.

The service in the restaurant was poor when we fed back about our meal. Neither knew how to manage poor feedback. We explained that the curry did not taste of curry and they said they would speak to the chef. Neither servers made contact after this and we had to walk to the front desk to pay our bill. It was a pity but it was clear that neither of then knew what to do or how to manage the situation. We just wanted to feed back as others would also be disappointed. We were told the chef was Indian so they were surprised!
