We enjoyed our stay overall and found the hotel to be a very good choice for a city break. The location is excellent, right in the city centre, with many restaurants, shops, and attractions within walking distance. The hotel is stylish, clean, and well maintained, creating a pleasant atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The rooms are comfortable, the air conditioning works very well and quietly, and housekeeping did an excellent job every day. We also appreciated the option of late check-out, which is very convenient for guests with evening flights. The rooftop terrace on the 6th floor is a lovely feature and a great place to relax and enjoy the sunshine. Breakfast offers good-quality products, fresh juices, cheeses, ham, pastries, and other essentials. A special thank you to the receptionist who assisted us at check-out and arranged the luggage room. She was exceptionally friendly, professional, and helpful, and truly stood out during our stay. Playa de las Arenas can be reached in about 15–20 minutes by car. We recommend downloading the Free Now app for convenient taxi bookings, although hailing a taxi on the street is usually just as easy.

There are a few areas that could enhance the guest experience. Breakfast was exactly the same during our 5-day stay, with very limited fresh vegetables and rather tasteless eggs. Communication before arrival could also be improved. We requested a balcony room and asked about late check-out when making the reservation, but only received a response after check-in stating that both were subject to availability. This information would have been much more useful before arrival or during check-in to avoid ambiguity (we asked 3 times 3 different receptions - maybe leaving a message in the room would help☺️). We only discovered the restaurant and rooftop terrace by chance, so both deserve better promotion. We also mentioned in the pre-arrival survey that we were celebrating our 17th anniversary. We really did not expect a gift, but a simple welcome note would have been a nice touch. Small gestures such as complimentary water for late arrivals, a basket of apples in the lobby for the guests would help create a warmer and more memorable 4-star experience.

I always enjoy Vincci properties when travelling in Spain. Lys had kind friendly staff and a lovely breakfast.

There was a putrid smell of sewer in room.

The property was beautifully located, and clean. Breakfast was enjoyable with lots of variety.

We had a problem with the water pressure on the last day so it was difficult to shower and brush our teeth. We had to check out by 12 PM and we didn’t want maintenance to be in our room while we were packing to leave for the train so it was a little difficult to leave, but they did let us check in an hour early, however, only if we were willing to accept two twin beds instead of the king bed room we reserved. So we did not actually get the room we paid for, and we had difficulty with the water during checkout day, which is the time when you most need to shower and get ready for Travel. The hotel did not offer to make any accommodation for the difficulties. This was disappointing. Also, we wanted to do two towels to the beach when our room was not ready and they wanted to charge us money to use towels for a few hours and bring them back. This is highly unusual in our country and we found it disadvantageous.
