Great location for your money.

The hostal is located right on center of walking distance to everything. Which it’s great.

The elevator was out of service and the Hostal is located practically on the 3rd floor which, it’s difficult to carry a luggage upstairs. There was a lot of noises on both sides of my bedroom which prevented me from sleeping.

The room at Tartessos was clean and comfortable and in the right location.

The location was excellent not far from the station and right in the middle of the old town near all the restaurants and bars.

It wasn’t that easy to find. We knew it was not on the ground floor of a building but the signage wasn’t that good but we found it eventually.

A basic (but not cheap) option in a great lication.

The location is fabulous - great access to the city center.

There is no “heart” to this hostel, so it is just a basic room. The first room we had no fridge, but in the second we did, which was great. But no kettle or microwave or anything like that meant we had to eat out for every meal. Contacting the manager/owner was not always easy, esp. when we arrived before the official check-in time.

I had a great stay and loved the Location.

Comfortable bed, sound proofed windows windows, balcony and a mini fridge. Perfectly comfortable for a solo traveler. Access to the room and Hostal was easy. An elevator was useful. Quiet and clean. Lots of restaurants very nearby.

We arrived late time and we are not informed about the entrance code of hotel. There is no any person in reception 24/7 hours. Than they helped me so much to check in early as much as possible.

Excellent location if you wanna stay inside de Ciutat Viella ("Old City"), very spacious bedroom, big and clean bathroom, convenient access, friendly staff and keep your luggage for free in the reception after the check out (this was the best part for me, because our flight was late night)

Everything was good, i'm just going to suggest few things: install a curtain shower and put a kettle in the bedroom - this would let the bathroom cleaner and the kettle is more for the convenience

Stress free, very comfortable beds, spotless accommodation, would highly recommend Hostal Tartessos.

Hostal Tartessos was absolutely perfect, right in center and very secure, Malik welcomed us on arrival, he is an absolute gentleman and was so helpful to us whenever we asked him for anything, he is so friendly and nice, thank you Malik, we would definitely recommend your Hostal and hopefully we will be able to come stay again in the future, Valencia is a beautiful city.

Súper break in the heart of beautiful Valencia

Great location , set right in the centre of town. We had a moto that was easy to park close by. Really clean, large room.

I can be a little noisy at night from people chatting on the street, but it’s in a city so it was to be expected .

Excellent central location right night to the town hall, and with a very nice little tapas bar/cafe just on the sreet below which was great for breakfast. Daily room cleaning although we declined this as it was siesta time. Very comfortable beds in a clean and spacious room with aircon, black out shutters and view of the street.

The room electricity is operated by the key which also carries the fob for the building. This means that one guest cannot go out while the other stays in the room unless it is reception hours. Also the fridge is turned off when we are not in the room so nothing can be cooled whilst we are out. Unlike some hostals there is no kitchen area or facilities, including cutlery or plates, so eating out is the only option.

The location was Fantastic! I had an appointment right across the Plaza. It was convenient to Restaurants and close to the train station.

The bedside lamps were not great for reading.

Perfect location, very clean and calm. Hair dries and soaps are available. Good air conditioning. Continuing improving it (while I was there, the shower glasses have been changed, solving the "flooding" probloems)

Too soft bed, it becomes really warm after some minutes on it (and in my days there the weather was quite cold). Bad smell from the toilet (a cork helps in reducing the inconvenience) Quite "impersonal" the furniture and lightning, almost never met the receptionist in 5 days

Superb

Superb location, very convenient to the historical part. Close to bus stop and just 17mins walk to train station. We had night train arrival and very early train departure, so this is very handy for us. The only down side is no electrical kettle. The first night was very noisy next door and down the street with some drunk ppl due to Easter long weekend. But Malik manage to settle the issue very quickly.

Wish there is electrical kettle in the room, so we can made some tea.

Perfect stay!

Highly recommended. Spacious rooms and bathrooms, you are right in the heart of the city and I was able to walk everywhere. Easy to get too from the airport. Rainfall shower is a bonus and bathroom is super clean and spacious. Plenty of towels and bedding/aircon etc. Instructions from host Malik where spot on and easy to follow! The set up is great that they have. If I ever return I’ll defo stay here. Best stay Iv ever had in a “hostel” style hotel!
