Very disappointed!!

The bed was comfortable

Toilet seat was not fastened to the toilet pan! The shower head was broken and would not stay in any position The sink waste would not keep water in the sink, broken! The most miserable man on reception at check in who smelled of stale cigarettes and booze Anything we asked for appeared to be a chore for him! The ridiculous 6 digit locks on the room doors instead of a key or card Very noisy in the corridor when people leaving and entering their rooms

Not what I expected

Large bathroom

The bathroom is very spacious, but it leaves little room in the bedroom. With the large bed, maneuvering was difficult.

No frills but comfortable enough for a cheap stopover en route

As the other reviewers say, this is a no-frills budget hotel, dirt cheap and ideal for a stopover. The double room was actually quite comfortable, and all our beds were decent, there were useful drink and snack machines in the lobby, even a lounge, and the hotel is situated close to the Carrefour hypermarche and a couple of restaurants.

The en-suite bathrooms were cramped, as you'd probably expect at little over £30 a night, but there was some unexplained water leaking on to the floor in both rooms (presumably from adjacent bathrooms).

Having seen some other reviews I think it is pot luck on rooms - our shower was fine and it did the job!

The cleanliness of the room, and the other areas of the Hotel, the friendliness of the proprietor, it was just what we needed for a one night stop over. Breakfast was a good cold buffet with hot drinks available.

It was a bit cramped, but we were only there for one night so no problem.

Absolutely fine for a stop off with kids on a long drive

Easy to find from the main motorway. Accessed the hotel late (after check in desk had closed) but had received the codes prior to arrival and it was all very easy to use this “self service” hotel. Generally felt quite safe and secure. No frills, but decent enough.

A basic hotel (which was expected due to the price) but there was strong smell of stale cigarette smoke everywhere, especially in rooms. No breakfast option for early (7am) departure. Room had water issues - strangely, only exceedingly hot water from all taps so couldn’t shower or brush teeth! There was nobody onsite to try and remedy the issue.

We arrived very late but we’d been given the codes for the door . Perfect stopover . Basic but comfortable.

Perfect overnight stop

Great for an overnight stop to break the long drive through France. Plenty for breakfast. German cemetery nearby. And the cathedral up the hill is just amazing.

Great budget stop off en route back to UK. Laon old town is well worth a visit.

Very friendly check in, pet friendly, clean but basic room. Similar to Premiere Classe but better upkeep.

Despite no smoking signs everywhere, this request had obviously been ignored as there was a strong smell of tobacco. Pillows somewhat lumpy.

Good value basic hotel near motorway - exactly what we needed. Easy access even though we arrived late. OK only if you are a smoker

Smoking!!! Everything smells of cigarettes ( it hits you already as you enter the building), no matter how long we kept the windows open (not overnight due to road noise) both of the rooms we had were inhabitable, the pillows and duvets smelled so bad (through clean covers) that it was impossible to sleep. Also the bathroom was basic which is fine but there was way too much mould present.

Handy little hotel near the town. Pretty basic but comfy - warm shower, comfy bed, clean etc.

We have a little dog and it was a bit too noisy for him with people walking down the corridors etc.
