Kyriad Direct Laon

Quiet, clean, facilities/amenities and little comfort extras at the level you would expect at a cheap-ish hotel mostly used for one night transit stays. Nice and green around it, ample parking space. Good, copious breakfast with ample choices.

Not much. It is what we expected from a fairly simple crossways hotel/motel.

The room was smart and tidy. It’s a bit of a walk into the centre but not too long. The staff were kind and helpful.

The shower leaked all over the place, and the shutters were broken so I could not open them fully or close them at night for security.

Location for motorway

Its a tired old building like a 1960s holiday camp not anything like a Kyriad I have used before. And the noise from the music venue / restaurants thumping until 1 am kept us awake. So will not return here

2nd time here, close to bowling, restaurant complex which was great fun

Breakfast was a bit chaotic Some mornings there where no cups glasses or even bowls ! They didn’t seem to keep up with clearing tables and washing up Also had to wait for cheese and meat to be restocked

This is a good budget overnight hotel with very clean and comfortable modern rooms in "motel" style. Buffet breakfast is perfectly adequate. Good parking.

Outside of block housing room still requires renovation but interior of all rooms have been modernised. Locality is uninspiring but is safe

Being able to access the locked car park and rooms in the early hours having travelled down from Calais. The Hotel helpfully emailed all the detail to enter so no need to depend on a member of staff. Breakfast very good. Set us up for the onwards journey.

Perfect late night stop over on way to eurotunnel

Really comfy bed, nice decor, felt quality for a great price. Like direct access to rooms with a dog and secure gated parking. Location is great near motorway and supermarkets and restaurants

Campanile got ride of the hotel the new owners haven't refurbished at all needs knocking down and starting again. Shame on booking.com to have this dump on your website

Some noise from a nearby road. Difficult to access the first floor room with a suitcase using an outside staircase.

Location is good a stop over when travelling down France. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fair. Nearby restaurants and a bar so that’s good.

It’s a motel which is tired and dated. Whilst it was clean in the surface, it was well worn. Only one towel (although I got another on request no problem) but they were threadbare and a bit grey. Our biggest issue was that it was cold. The bedding was a summer duvet but it was a very cold winter night. We could not heat the room and ended up getting out own bedding from the car to keep warm. It was a Saturday night and during the night there was lots of activity going on nearby (cars revving and horns tooting etc.) and we were concerned about our car which had items from our trip in it, which was around the front and we could not see it. However, all was fine when we tentatively looked the next day! Breakfast was an ok for the money. We realise it’s a budget hotel but the Hotel Kyriad over the road is only a few euros more and much more comfortable (we normally stay there but it was full).

A cheap and cost effective hotel for an overnight stop on a recent ski trip. Options for eating out nearby as there was no food available in the evening of our arrival. Breakfast was the continental type but certainly adequate enough for our needs
