Perfect cheap overnight stop

Easy to get to from the motorway. Quick check in even though we were arriving late. Perfect for a quick sleep before continuing our journey. Comfortable bed and clean. Convenient car park right by the rooms.

I requested a cot, which we didn’t get. Could have done with more blankets (only 1 in a 3 bed room), as we were quite cold at night.

Is not what I expected

Nothing special, and it was not as described. The place was horrible and very cold, and nothing was working properly. It was extremely small more suitable for a single person. The room was freezing because the heating system was not working. The room was smelly . It was New Year’s, and the temperature was -5°C, so I couldn’t sleep that night. The toilet was small and smelly, and the water was cold as well. I do not recommend this place.

On the whole, not bad, except for the size of the room.

Room very clean and quiet. Beds comfortable. Nice staff. Plenty of parking. Cheap.

Room really too small for three people, impossible to move about, even with no luggage. In the first room we were given, the toilet didn't flush; in the second, the door didn't open; the third was OK. However, there were only two towels for three people.

My stay was too expensive for the available facilities

What went well was that I got a place to stay where I had to pay for the wasteges of the owner because I paid for a room that was meant for 3 people and I was alone and had no other choice. Paying for what I didn't need.

I didn't like it that I could not make a choice for the room because all were meant for family and there was no initiative to provide rooms for single people

The old town id lovely. Was worth the overnight stop.

The room is small and cramped. Can sleep three but even for a solo traveller, I felt like in a confined space. Bathroom is tiny. It is like a caravan bathroom. It was cheap for the area so you get what you pay for. For 1 night it was OK.

The restaurant next door was walking distance and the food was good.

The location does not represent what is depi ted on Booking.com. The nice receptionist gave me the key to room 10, I went there and the room was not cleaned yet and the cleaning lady got upset, called the receptionist and yelled at her. I then got the key to room 25, entered it and it smelled of smoke. The provided towels were both still wet either from prior use or straight out of the washing machine. No hot water for showering and the room was overall dirty, noisy and needed numerous repairs. Run! Go somewhere else!!!

I wont be staying there again

I wasn’t told clearly where the room was. Had to walk around a gloomy unsafe area and tripped on a curb & fell due to poor lighting. The room smelled of cigarettes, i was woken by very loud guests late in the night, the shower water didn’t drain away & went from hot to cold, and couldn’t get anyone to come to reception to give me the wifi password.
